Tuesday the 29th (DD) wound up being a 484 calorie day instead of a complete fast. Wednesday (UD) was pretty good as I kept it to 1500 calories, on the lower side of "normal" for me. Thursdsay I took a power bar (230 cals) with me to nibble, but waited as long as I could before I took the first bite...around 1pm. In the evening I had some veggies and a small bit of chicken. Friday it was so fun to eat everything! I went to work out with dad at the gym at 5:30, and breakfast wasn't until nine, so I was nibbling everything...then had breakfast. Yikes i was full! Then we had guest for lunch and bbq for dinner. Needless to say, I didn't really count calories that day, but it wouldn't have been pretty. :(
Saturday was a complete fast day. Only water. Because of Friday's extra, I felt good until mid-afternoon, when I completely slumped. I didn't go to a party I had intended to go to because I felt so sluggish and like going to bed. Sunday (today) has been good so far. Yogurt and fruit for breakfast.
I feel like alternate day eating can really become a good rhythm for me. After the eating days, I feel like taking a fasting break, and while I'm hungry and a little low energy on the DD, it's not unbearable. I wonder if you ever get used to DD with normal activity. I was lucky that my DD activities either were cancelled or changed so that I had a lot of down time those days. Do low calorie days get easier with practice? I'll have to see. I'm down 2 lbs from last week. :)
My sisters want to start the Master Cleanse lemonade diet tomorrow, so I'm thinking about doing that with them for the next 10 days, then going back to JUDDD after that.
