Day 11

Well, here it is day 11 and I completed my first week of exercise. I am really proud of myself. I managed to get up every morning and work out at least 45 minutes and burned a total of 1558 calories. I controlled my food portions and drank plenty of water. All that hard work paid off as I am down 7 pounds!

This is a new week which means new challenges. My hubby will be joining in on the exercising everyday so I am happy for that. I want to continue to do my cardio in the morning and I want to start walking 30 min everyday at lunch time, and finish off with a workout video after work. I tend to eat less when I am busy doing things. I will start slow until I adjust and get down to a comfortable routine. Hopefully my first goal of 32lbs will be reached by March 29! What a great birthday gift to myself!

I started watching the new season of Biggest Loser. I could not believe how big the cast is. I mean I know America has alot of obese people (me included) but WOW, that just really broke my heart. I always pick go for the person who has the same start weight as me and I compare myself to her and that always motivates as I know if she can do it so can I! If I was on the show, my trainer would be Jillian. She is so kick ass she kills me! I need someone working me 110% she really gets the job done and she makes me laugh too.

Okay, well that's all for today. I have alot of cleaning, and laundry to do. But I'll be back later.

  I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am as I read your blog and message to me earlier- WAY TO GO GIRL! You are really inspiring me to stay focused and move along with the "baby steps"! I am almost speechless, I am so proud of you for getting up and exercising in the morning...something I have yet to tackle, haha. All I can say is good job, keep going, and keep blogging rain or shine :)

Day 1

It's the New Year and that means new resolutions. My resolution is simple, just lose weight. I had a pretty relaxing day, I made eggs with pancakes this morning, drank plenty of water through out the day and now I am getting ready for bed. My official start weight for 01/01/09 is 294. My first short term goal is to lose 32 lbs by my 32nd birthday wish is March 29. I know I can do it, I am determined. I have to go food shopping tomorrow and load up on the good foods to keep me on track. I will have an official weekly weigh in every Tuesday just like the biggest loser show. That will help me keep motivated every week. I will try and blog my progress every week. The following are my Day 1 measurements:

Waist: 52
Chest: 55 1/2
Hips: 46
Biceps: 16
Calves: 20

These I will measure every 1st of each month.

Okay, that's all for today. I look forward to another day tomorrow!

    I just want to say congrats on your new beginning and good luck all the way to your goal. Just want to say that sometimes the scale can be your worst enemy. Today, I putmy scale away for a month and just walk everyday. I have been walking every day since December 6, 2008, so far I have lost about 8 pounds and some inches. It is a slow process but if you are determined it will walk for you. God bless you and I will be praying for you as you take your first steps. emoticon
