Make sure your hair is dry before going outside.

I only do this one in the winter and even some days then it's still wet!

I am having a great week. It's terribly hot here but we're making due at school. Today we had severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings but nothing happened...Thank God! We played volleyball in terrible wind and rain. We made it through 2 games and won both. During the 3rd game the lightning started. We were ahead when the refs called the game. The other team didn't want to hang around and wait so they forfeited. 3 wins. Yeah. We're 6 and 6.
I'm off to do a leslie sansone walk and jog video. I'm loving her right now. I think the videos and my eating have kick my metabolism back into gear! Let's hope the scale say so....oh never mind who cares as long as my inches are going down and my clothes are looking better!

    How many times did I hear that growing up. My hair is down to my booty so I would be all day trying to blow dry it. It is thick and takes all day to air dry unless I just let it hang. Seriously 2hrs minimum last time I used a blow dryer. But the picture is great. Congrats on the volleyball games. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Glad your areas was not affected by the thunderstorms and tornadoes. We have had a lot of rain and high winds here too--more expected today.

Congrats on winning your volleyball games. That's awesome! With the Leslie videos, do you just walk in place or are you supposed to do them on a treadmill. I've heard great things and I think I'm going to give it a try.

Get plenty of rest!

I have to focus on this one more. I average 6 hours a night. I felt much better when I was getting 8. 7 is good too. I was reelly shocked to find that I lost 1/2 in on my waist this week and 1/4 inch on my hips. I'm thrilled. I hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday!

    I so agree with the rest thing. I have started doing some mild stretches before bedtime and it really helps. I am now up to 7-8 hrs per night. I am so glad and I feel so much better. More energy and just more positive. I totally agree Sleep is so important. emoticon emoticon

Dress right for the weather.

Yup right now I have a tank and shorts on. Just came in from morning coffee and breakfast on the deck and we are getting ready to go for a walk and do some major cleaning and weeding. If I get a chance i will take a picture of my weeds - they are huge and they are starting to bloom!!!!!!!!

My weight was up 3 lbs this week - I was back to 150 but today I weighed myself and I am down 1 lb to 149. I think I am getting back on track...thanks again for everyone's encouragement!

    Love it. Yup I'm living in my tanks and shorts. Don't forget to log in all that gardening it is Cardio!! I hope to get into the yard this weekend myself the relaxation garden is at a stand still but won't be able to work on it this next weekend cause we have the long drive to get my step-daughter next weekend. she will be here for a month and then she has to go home to her mom. That is always upsetting for her. She always cries when we take her home. emoticon emoticon
