Day 3

Well, today is day three. Changed up the exercise to water walking. Definitely feel better and it wasn't so hard on my knees. I was able to do some exercises for my lower body that are basically impossible on dry land. Will be checking out how to do the exercises in the water (even though I have done water aerobics many times I still forget) and incorporate them into my daily exercise. I won't be able to exercise tomorrow but will watch what I eat and drink very carefully. No sodas today, only water. I am happy about that. One day at a time...

Hey There!! I just started on the 15th ;0 I have on shot knee so I have to figure out some exercises. I don't have access to a pool. I have an exercise bike-that's out for now cause of my knee-so I'll have to move onto my exercise ball ;p I'm 52 and looking to lose 70! That really seems out-there when I look at it. Hmmm! Day 2

Well, today is day 2. Watched what I ate today and walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes. Plan on doing the 20 minutes this entire week. Feeling pretty sore and definitely need to make sure I eat a snack before I work out as I was feeling lightheaded once we got home. It definitely helps to have my husband doing this with me and being so supportive. One day at a time....

My proudest moment during this challenge

I would have to say that my proudest moment was when I decided to take a Zumba class. I forced myself to go in there and do the class. Now I have ordered the DVDs so I can not only learn to do it correctly but because my schedule is so strange I can do it every day. It is fun and I really did enjoy it. Will be making it part of my daily workout as soon as they get here.

Zumba DVDs

I ordered my zumba DVDs today. Thanks to my DH who graciously bought them for me. I just can't seem to bring myself to go back to class right now. I can do a jazzercise class no problem, the moves just come right back, but those zumba moves were tough. Fun, but tough. So, I ordered the DVDs that will help me learn the steps as well as give me several workouts to choose from. My schedule doesn't allow for me to get to the gym much so I am hoping this will help me out a lot as well as to make me feel more comfortable to go to the classes.

My group has a challenge to come up with five things I am looking forward to when I hit my goal weight. They are as follows:

1. Feeling better about myself.
2. Able to buy clothes off the misses rack.
3. Having more energy.
4. Feeling comfortable wearing a bathing suit.
5. Able to wear matching sexy underwear.

Laura, I actually do wear a swimsuit only it has a skirt on it and I would like to be able to wear a one piece without a skirt. When we went to Las Vegas this past year for our anniversary a woman was at the pool and when she saw me come out in my suit she told me thank you and she was going to go put hers on. She did and enjoyed the water so you never know who you are going to inspire at any time!! Report Inappropriate Comment
