I didn't listen to the warnings of the holiday season, I ate like a little pig and gained my weight back. Now I have to start all over at step 1. And this time I am not quitting. I feel horrible about all this, my Doctor will flip. Ok got to go make a plan of action.

emoticon I started smoking again!!! I know, how did I let this happen, I have got of my diet and exercising. I feel so horrible, and now fibromyalgia has hit my body hard and I can barely move my right arm. And I am in pain. I have been taking 2 extra strength ibuprophen. Anyway now I will have to start all over again. But I will have to wait until this attack is over. I feel so ashamed and just down right horrible. But while I am laid up I got a book on exercisng that I can read until then. I asked for a rowing machine for christmas.

    Oh dear. I am so sorry you are feeling so rough right now. emoticon Don't beat yourself up about one slip. I gave up nearly a year ago, cold turkey, so I can relate to how hard it is. Just get right back in there when you feel up to it. emoticon I know you can do it, you are a strong woman. You are also not alone, even if sometimes it feels you are.     I certainly hope you get the rowing machine! I'm really sorry about the pain, and I know that feel. I've been trying to stop smoking off and on all year. It's so rough.

I did it I quit smoking, its already been 24 hours since my last cigarette. The Zyban really is working. Still getting cravings but I have managed to not smoke. I have a list of things to do to stop me from smoking, excercising, clean the bathroom, go for a walk, play with the dog. There are literally lots of things for me to do. emoticon

    emoticon for making this decision! emoticon I gave mine up in Jan and I am coming up for my year anniversary soon and I have never felt better!... well, more or less..... emoticon Keep up the good work. If it helps the nicotine only takes 2-3 days to come out of your system, the rest is habit breaking and trust, there will some habits you don't even know you have until you have to break them.... it does get easier!.. emoticon

Step 2 day 11

Walked to the bank which is 5 blocks away, and since I have been excercising it didn't hurt. No leg pain, no hip pain. I am sure its the excercising that is helping. Woo Hoo!! I can walk, maybe one day I'll be able to run. Could happen!! Now the smoking thing, well I am still puffing but only about 5-7 cigarettes a day. But next Monday this house is going smoke free. I will try hard not to smoke this weekend, then Monday Bam no more. I hope I can do it. Hey never thought I could excercise before.

I have been consistenantly doing my excercises, I have cheated a few times on my diet (halloween candy) . I am ttaking the Zyban 2 times a day and I think I can quit if I get rid of others smoking around me, and the dirty ashtrays have to go. So new changes coming to our house.
