I keep a food and exercise journal and send them to my fitness coach every two weeks. Today, when I weighed in, Day 14 of this phase, I was exactly where I was two weeks ago. This thrilled me! No, I'm not at maintenance. But I had one heck of a difficult, crazy two weeks! We had to do some traveling, we got snowed in by an unexpected storm, our son had some medical problems and was hospitalized. CRAZY two weeks. I managed to get to the gym, even if not as often as usual. I didn't eat over all the unexpected, difficult events. I stuck to my plan as much as possible. (With traveling and staying with other people, meal times were not as regimented as I do them...)
I have always been a stress eater. I was severely stressed most of these last 2 weeks. I did not once stress eat. For that, I'm proud, grateful, happy. I may not have lost any weight, but I gained a tremendous amount of satisfaction in knowing I've forever changed my relationship to food and exercise!
Oh...and I did manage to wear two different size 8 pants to work...so even if the pounds aren't coming off, changes are still being made! :D
