Fresh starts are great. We get to make one every time we wake up and start a new day. I'm in an upbeat, hopeful kind of mood which is great since I have work to do and weight to lose. October looms!

Still struggling but I'm pushing through determined to keep at it. Vacation has been hard to leave behind. At least the overindulging part of it. Apparently I was made to stick to a routine. If I stop my good ways for even a short time, I have the worst time trying to get back to doing what I know is a better, healthier way to live. Why, why, why are good habits are so easy to break?
Well, like it or not, I'm back. I need to buckle down and get back doing what needs to be done. I'll check out some more of the motivation articles and get on the message boards. Hopefully that will give me the kick in the butt that I need.

Just Gritting My Teeth

I exercised for 50 minutes today, logged my food, stayed on SP for an hour reading news, health, and blog articles. I am determined to get back into a good routine and lose the 20 lbs I've commited to before my October deadline. Not an easy transition from vacation (when I have a Whoo-Hoo attitude) and my regular routine. It may not be easy but its do-able and I'll come out a winner!
