The more worthy I become to myself, the more valuable I could be to others.

Coming to terms

Monday, October 22, 2012

Yes I have come to terms with my inter turmoil. I am happy with who I chose to be in my life. I am a mother, wife and a homemaker, and I think I did a pretty good job with it. I am who I am and I can't be someone else (believe me I have trying). I am happy with my saggie belly and gray hair, This is who I chose to be. I chose to be happy now!! ;) Yes and just like that I am going to move on.

The past affects us, whether we really want it to or not; sometimes we really don't have a voice/choice in it. At 67, I'm okay...but I wasn't always. Now, about the saggy belly? I'm not happy with that; however, I don't believe it's going anywhere!! emoticon

The gray stays!!

Idk

Sunday, October 21, 2012

I set a goal and then I dont follow through. Is it that I am just not ready to commit? I wish I didn't need to even think about the food I eat. I wish I didn't compare myself to others. Women where do we get these ideas from.

I agree that setting small goals is important. And we have these problems becauswe don't think we are worth it. Try also to remember why you are going for that goal, keeping your motivation in mind.

Magnesium

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Eat at least 5 servings of any of these magnesium-rich foods throughout the day:
cup of boiled spinach.
cup of quinoa.
1 cup of brown rice.
1 cup of kidney beans.
1 cup of lentils.
1 cup of raisin bran.
1 cup of shredded wheat.
1 cup of oatmeal.
2 slices of whole wheat bread.
2 bananas

I seen this on Dr. Oz and I am hoping this is why I am so tired all the time. My dr. said my iron was low, but I tryied to eat for that and it didn't work. I always crave carbs but maybe these are the carbs I should eat. I hope this will help. Try for two weeks and maybe myself but.
