Wasted time...

Well, yes, I am still thinking about contentment and that is going to be a journey I will be going through for some time but now I am also thinking about how I waste time. I do spend a lot of time on the internet. This morning I spent like almost an hour doing a whole lot of nothing online when I could have been getting some exercise in. I have got to watch my time as much as I watch my money! I actually have plenty of time to do all I need to do and exercise and eat right....I just need to learn to prioritize! :)

    It's a common problem, Dawn, so 'at least' you are not alone!

Someone here once wrote in a team I was on that she found she was on the computer too long.... until she started to set the kitchen timer and get off the computer when it rang. Must have felt like a "beat the clock" game, but sure sounds like a good plan!

Now the big question must be: do you get off the computer so that you can get onto the tv viewing or phone calling?? YIKES. We are surrounded by technology and it's taking over?! ;)

Woke up still thinking about contentment and what that means for me. I do believe that maybe it is a time for a word study....contentment. I will blog about what a learn and how it has affected me. This is going to be good. I can't wait to get started....

Being Content

Imagine that you are perfectly content with every aspect your life. What does that life look like? What steps do you have to take to make that life a reality? Instead of WISHING, start DOING. Put a plan into action today!

So...that is what spark coach gave me to think about today and that is really good for today because am feeling down about things. Sometimes I feel perfectly content but NOT with my weight...and then I struggle to lose some weight when really I am not all that overweight. And then I get upset because I can't and then I decide to come out of my depression and get all motivated and try again and then the whole thing repeats itself. UGH!

So, what can I do to put a plan into action....this is something I really need to think about because as soon as I have a plan I realize that I can't follow the plan. It needs to be realistic! Obviously what I have planned for myself has not been realistic or I would be able to follow it...right? So.....I will be pondering this over the next few days....

    I would also suggest that you try to mix up where you do some of your routines. Their is the saying that "variety is the spice of life", well I believe that changing the scenery can go a long way in helping to stay out of the good ole doldrums which can help to keep one motivated if not totally pumped up.

Getting rid of all this sugar!

Feeling really good about things today! I am realizing that they main reason I am always craving things in the sugar in those things sooooooooo I am going to start trying to go sugar free. I am going to start checking all the foods I buy for sugar and try to eliminate sugar just a little bit at a time. I have done this before but didn't stick with it. It is NOT easy to do but it CAN be done so here goes nothing. Be blessed!

  That is a great idea . By taking little baby steps you can lose that weight! I am trying to do the same with salt. I even rinse can beans, veggies and such because they are loaded with salt!

Well, last night I had me some ice cream and it put me over my calories BUT it is all good! It was family fun night here in at the house. We played Life and had a good ol' time so I figured....a little ice cream can't hurt. And it won't. I am feeling good....still working out....still tracking my food....still drinking my water! All in all life is good! No way I could do this all on my own. God is sooooo good! Be blessed!
