9 Day Goals

Sunday, May 20, 2012

Okay Ladies and Gents!

I have 9 days before I embark on a glorious 7 day trip to Banana Island. For the next 9 days I have some goals I would like to accomplish.

Here they are...

#1: Commit 100% to 80/10/10.
I will track all my foods using Cronometer and share it daily with my team.
#2: Consume NO overt fats.
Since having severe stomach issues I have decided to refrain from overt fats since a few weeks after my trip to Banana Island. After that I will slowly start re-introducing them and see how I feel. I have noticed since staying 10% and under I've had less stomach problems but they haven't disappeared completely. The past week or so I have had very little to no overt fats and been feeling much better.
#3: Exercises everyday!
Even if I just get myself moving for 15 minutes! Here are some things I can do.
-Run
-Bike
-Pilates
-Yoga Dance (fell in love with this, go out and try it!)
-Weight lifting/Aerobics

So there are some goals! I could come up with a hundred more but it's better to keep it simple.

I will be posting a more in depth blog with my reasons and plans for Banana Island sooner to it's approach.

Stay Tuned!

I have a history of failing at my goals like a lot of us. Let's work together!

What are your thoughts/ideas/concerns. Let me know!

Now go grab your spandex pants and some fruit and get moooovvviiinnnn!

Peace and luuuuvvv

Banana island? Melon island? Did you choose these destinations on purpose? emoticon
I'll be joining you tomorrow for 30 days - it's a fun challenge I think.
Way to go!

Rosalie it would be amazing if you joined me! It's so much easier when you know others are doing the same things as well. These will be a fun 9 days!

I'm thinking of doing some pilates when I get home from work tonight. Nothing to crazy just yet.

I will be on Banana Island for 7 days and thinking of doing 3 days after on Melon Island. So 10 days total of giving my belly a major break.

If I can get my camcorder fixed I want to make some videos for it.

YAY for our 9 day challenge! emoticon
I'm glad you're in!

These are wonderful goals! I did not know about your travel plans. : D

How long will you be on BI?

You are sensitive to what its going on with your body and you're able to identify changes based on what you've eaten. Fats are very hard to digest.

I love how open you are. Would it help if I commit with you?

Can I handle it? Can I see me these next 9 days with 100% LFRV and no overt fats with at least 15 movement every day?

Yes! Yes I can do it and I will! I'm in!

I'm back!

Friday, January 13, 2012

Hey everyone! I'm back!

I've been gone for a while. Work has been getting the best of my energy so I've been slacking . Though not so much this past week! I'm finally getting up earlier to go running before work and have had quite a lot more energy.I've noticed a better mood too. Although I think the macha I have been putting in my smoothies has been giving me a sort of caffeine like crash later on in the day.

If no ones ever heard of macha before it's powdered green tea extract. Funky green color and nice smell. I added around a teaspoon one day and then 1/2 another day but it's pretty powerful stuff.

I have also been eating a lot healthier. There has been an incredible amount of fruit added to my diet. I think I ate 11 bananas the other day? I'm feeling soooooo much better. Although I slipped a little yesterday and had some of the Amy's brand gluten/soy/dairy free burrito and mac n'cheese. I have an intolerance to those 3 ingredients. While everyone else had pizza and soda I feasted on an amazing fruit cup and delicious black beans! I did however wished I had just eaten the food I brought with me which was a big smoothie with a pear and some walnuts with pumpkin seeds. I had a bit of a stomach ache afterwards.

But as for right now I've had a little breakfast while waiting for the bf to wake up so we can go running. Don't want him to feel left out ;)
