Hello Friends!

Been working on my website and blog. New recipes to arrive shortly! I'll be experimenting with some tonight.

I've decided to give overt-fat free a go for a little while. I haven't put an amount of time on it. I would love to say 30 days but when I put a stamp on things I tend to fail at them. I've been going overboard with the fats lately and it's been causing all sorts of issues. Been feeling pretty bleh lately due to that.

Today is day #1 overt fat free. So far so good. I feel much better letting the avocado go for a little while. I've had a banana/blueberry smoothie for breakfast and orange juice for lunch. I juiced 12 cups but only had 8 for lunch. I decided to take a nap when I started to get a headache, another reason why I've decided to go overt fat free. I'm drinking my last 4 cups in my mason jar right now.

I'm very close to finishing my 200hr teacher training. I took today off for rest. I've been working 40hrs a week at a regular job, coming home and going on the internet for a few hours coaching and going to school. It's been taking quite a toll on me and I've been leaving my regular home practice which has resulted in my body being in large amount of pain. Inactivity when dealing with fibromyalgia is not a good thing.

I've been contemplating a few things lately. I want to put my all into this training and my coaching business. All other things have been a major stress source. If it's a negative source cut it out right? Not too easy when you rely on income. But if it's resulting in body and mind stress it can't be worth it. I think I need a push to change things.

Starting a free weekend practice class for my friends and there friends in the next couple weeks. Coming up with themes and routine ideas. Very excited! Only problem...I don't have music for the class :( I have to find a way to download the stuff I want. This computer has no more room left!

Running has been a no no recently. 3 foot snow storms, ice, heel spurs and bone pain. Ew!

All these things pointing to change. Time to get pro-active and do something about it.

Hey Everyone

I've had some recipes and such I wanted to post on here with a photo. I went to "add photo" selected everything I needed and hit upload. When I went to post the blog a message popped up saying "not html" the site posted it in html and I don't know why it would be telling me that.

Not sure how to fix this. Help! :)

    I sometimes get that if I upload and the size is too large. I can only upload photos from my iphone instead of my Canon 60D. Maybe that could be it?

Good Evening Friends!

Today I got up unwillingly. I was so sleepy but I had to go to school. I left after my first class since the rest of the day would be 3.5 hours of yoga. My body can't take that much right now and I was so beat. It was a nice day there though.

I went to pick up my produce order. We got 2 cases of bananas, 3 cases of mangos and 1 case of oranges. About $89 for each of us. We normally get 2 bananas and 1 orange but the mangos were so cheap and so yum!

I got home and had planned on doing all this stuff to catch up like I usually think but of course things never go as planned. I go some work done and helped a few clients out which was fun. I worked on my blog site a little but didn't finalized my most recent post.

I planned on taking a photo of all the food I have so everyone can see what we have for the week. I'm so wiped out right now that I might have to wait till tomorrow.

We made some delicious RAWKOS! for dinner. Raw vegan tacos. A little on the high fat side but I'll let it slide once in a while for a new recipe :) I'll be posting that later on too.

A Little Update.

Hello Everyone!

Long time since I've posted on here. I'm finding it hard to get on to talk to everyone. I've been in school working on my yoga teacher training certificate, coaching people on a raw vegan/vegan lifestyle, working on my website and started a blog.

I've also been pretty sick...not flu/cold sick but I've been dealing with severe Fibromyalgia and food allergies. I had a little slip up after not eating enough which lead to me eating something with gluten in it. I've still been not feeling very good and it worsend the fibro. Flares have been awful! The gluten sent me into a very high fever which was hard to break, vomiting and severe pain through my entire body. A few days later I used a tissue which was near someones bagel and I broke out into hives. I've never been THAT sensitive before.

This all has been a big slap in the face wake up call to get my stuff back in order. No more under-eating days and no more horrible slip ups. I can't be sick anymore. Let's go! :)

I've decided that the best way I keep myself in line is helping others on the raw vegan/vegan lifestyle. I also need some encouragement now and then. This site is a great place for that. Now if only I can make enough time :)

I have a week off work starting on my birthday! This month! I'm planning a long term water fast as well sometime either in February/March. I'm still learning about it. I've ordered Herbert Sheltons book I believe it's called "Fasting Can Save Your Life" I really believe it can help heal the damage to my body and mind.

I'm also working on creating a YouTube account where I will be showing recipes, tips and exercise/yoga workouts. Maybe even some guided meditation CD's

Right now I'm eating breakfast before I go to work. I've blended 10 ripe yummy bananas with carob powder. Tastes like chocolate milk without the nasty stuff :)

1/7 Banana Island

How beautiful and clear does the world feel tonight. I am getting filled with the most wonderful energy and unconditional love. Feeling connected the the ground below me and feeling love from the sky above me. Feeling free from the binding addictions, moods and thoughts. I feel set free! I want to dance barefoot under the stars singing and laughing and being FREE. Feeling like a wide eyed child connected to all beings around me, big or small. Feeling joy and being grateful for all moments I experience good or bad. The Heavens are certainly sending light down on me tonight!

Today is my first day on Banana Island. I will be eating mono-meals of bananas and orange juice for the next 7 days. Doing this will be a wonderful break on my body and digestive system. When eating mono meals you give your body a break from using all it's energy to digest food.

I actually had to step away from the computer to dance around.

I can't believe how much heavy fog has lifted from me mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Anyways, by doing Banana Island my body can finally use it's energy normally used in digesting food to do some much needed healing for body and mind. Sort of the same idea of results from fasting except not as extreme. I've tried fasting for a sort time but you really do need to do your research and I would suggest being under the guidance of a naturopath or experienced faster for longer fasts.

After a long time struggling with different ways of eating and failing many times trying to eat raw and healing the mainly aliments. I decided I need to set some goals and really get to them. I did my 9 days no overt fats raw and am go grateful for my experiences on it. Now it's time for a step further. The body can do tremendous healing while mono-eating. It's not just about losing weight. Right now I'm so much more focused on an all over healing. Mind, body, soul. I truly believe this is the right thing for my body at this time. My much destroyed belly will thank me as well.

I'm going to try to get some real good exercise on this journey as well. I'm also going to be focusing a lot on meditation and prayer.

I want to wake up in the morning and think about these few things.
What can I do today for myself
-Mentally
-Physically
-Emotionally
-Spiritually

Even if I can't do all of them in a day I will try a few. I know some people are doing BI also but even if your not I do believe it's important to take some time in the morning, sit down in a quiet spot as ask yourselves those questions. And remember most importantly to love yourself and love your body. There is only one you and you only get one body. SO LOVE IT AND TAKE CARE OF IT!

and to take care of this fruity yogi body it needs to rest and reboot!

Also for this time I'm on BI my BF is backpacking in Mass while on date island so don't forget to send him some positive energy while he's getting some vitamin D and rebooting his bod!

I find that the cleaner I eat, the cleaner my spirit and my thoughts.

Your BF is also 811? I had no idea! How wonderful! Dates are the perfect backpacking meal.

I'm so excited about my trip to the island too. I think that my positive experience of 9 days it no overt fats prepared me for this lovely week on Banana Island, or in.my case, Banana/Watermelon Island.
