Here's how the week went:
Sunday, I couldn't help myself, I was feeling antsy, so I hopped on my mini cycle for 30 minutes.
Monday, I spent the majority of my workday moving boxes. Exhausting!
Tuesday, I had another exhausting day of moving boxes at work.
Wednesday, I moved stuff around at work, at my leisure, but it still wore me out.
Thursday, another day of leisurely moving things around at work.
Friday, I moved boxes from the first floor up to the second floor for most of the day.
Long week of functional fitness!
Saturday, I took my usual walk while the laundry was in the wash.
As for my monthly challenge of no cookies, chocolate, cake or candy:
I had 1 fortune cookie, which I don't count as a cookie, but it's in the name so I'll fess up.
I also had pancakes and a few slices of pound cake (not on the same day) neither of which I consider cake, but it's in the name...
I almost ate a gummy bear once, but I caught myself mid-thought and won the battle.
The chocolate part of the challenge was definitely the toughest! I had nightmares of eating an M&M and blowing the whole thing! The cravings for it were intense and overwhelming some days. Needless to say, it was the first thing I was looking forward to having March 1st! I had a cup of hot chocolate with breakfast and it was SO good.
All day I was plagued with the thought that I hadn't had cookies all year! I debated continuing the streak...
At the end of the day, I caved and had a serving of Chips Ahoy... Not what I remembered...So not worth it...I got a headache, too. Lesson learned.
The tentative plan for next week:
-SP Streak into Spring challenge- exercise for at least 10 minutes a day for the first 20 days of March
-Sole Sparkers team challenge- eat 3 veggies a day everyday
-Go to the gym 4 days a week
