HOW COULD THEY DO THIS???Tuesday, November 15, 2011
This is the post I left on Dale Jr's, Kelley Earnhardt's, PIR, Hendrick Motorsports & the National Guard FB pages...'I was just informed that the National Guard people at PIR packed up their display and left the flats of posters and cases of 8x10 photos of Dale Jr. on the ground to be walked on and kicked about. Then a grounds keeper came along and picked them up and threw them in the trash. This has me so upset. There is another race this season that the items could have been taken to and handed out. I myself missed this display and would have loved to have gotten some of it. I'm thinking they left a little early. I saw the hauler leaving and there was still plenty of time left before the race started. I was also told that they packed up early on Fri too. So I'll bet it's safe to say they did on Saturday as well. I hope someone has a talk with these people. Dale Jr. fans are offended by this. If they didn't want to haul the items around, all they had to do was take it out of the race track then dispose of it out of the eyes of the fans.' We need to spread the word that this is no acceptable behavior. ![]()

That's awful! I'm not a fan of Dale Ernhart, Jr., but I'm a fan of other people and I can just imagine how you feel like it was such a waste of resources, and disrespectful. Maybe things will start being done in a better way, now that there have been some complaints. Hopefully! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Crappy, just plain crappy. The National Guard I belonged to back in the day would not have acted this way. Respect was one of the many things we were taught and expected to display. Unfortunately, respect is one of the big things missing in our society today.

Draw a heart on your wrist, change the world.
On April 25th-26th, 2011, there will be a day dedicated to people who are battling depression and suicide and to advocate a lifestyle of unconditional love. on this day, draw a heart on your wrist, to symbolize that you are wearing your heart on your sleeve. ask someone how they’re doing. tell someone you love them. nobody should have to feel so bad about themselves that they take their own life. take this challenge. save someone’s life.

Hi Tina; Sorry I didn't see this because I lost my son in law last year because of bipolar. My youngest daughter married into a famly that has 2 people with bipolar and I hope my GD doesn't show signs of it. Her sister in law has it along with one of her sons. My daghter isn't going to have anymore children. Stay healthy and exercise, eat well. God bless you always. Dale is doing okay at this time, he is moving up in 11 place. Been hard tonight for him. Keep learning from Spark people. Joyce Report Inappropriate Comment |

I know it's not. I had a cousin take his life as a teen. I have a niece that is bi-polar. This affects so many. Some get through it and others do not. This is near and dear to my heart. I added a picture of mine. I will redraw it after I take a shower. Thanks and please spread the word. It's all over Facebook.

I will most definitely be sporting a heart on my wrist tomorrow! Because myself, my dad, my grandma, and my sister all battle depression. It's not an easy thing to go through! Thanks for posting! Report Inappropriate Comment |
