Imagine that you're out to dinner and you order one of the healthiest options on the menu instead of your usual order. How does it make you feel to have made the healthier choice? Think of that feeling if you have to face tough food choices today.
I am not sure why I chose to start the Spark Coach right now. I am doing all the wrong things! I have been 'good' for several months now. Using Dr. Fuhrman's eat for Health plan which is a plant based eating plan. It is meant to actually heal the body, not just lose weight.
Maybe when i ordered the Wendy's strawberry shortcake parfait, I should have imagined Dr. Fuhrman sitting in the car with me. I went to a local park and watched the ducks while I ate. and yesterday from the Chinese place, I ordered my steamed vegetables but today 'got into' the leftover sticky General Soa's chicken and the pork fried rice. I had some last night too after my husband went to bed.
Fuhrman says we will learn to love the new, healthy eating style and prefer these much healthier meals.
Maybe I am rebelling. I don't know. Fuhrman's plan made me more successful than anything else I tried. I lost my food cravings. I wasn't hungry and if I was, a normal portion of a plant-based meal would do the trick.
What I am eating right now is very salty and sticky and sweet! Probably a nice big plate of a vegetarian meal would taste better. I will sit here and imagine myself eating that.
