October Vacation Time Extended

Yesterday, my husband asked me about going to Florida for 2 weeks: going 3 days before the cruise and staying for 3 days after. Previously, he was not real keen on being gone for more than a week, so I was surprised and quite pleased. That will be fun! It will give us some time to adjust to the time change, and explore some of Florida.

    I want to do that too! WE are going on a cruise in November and I wanted to go ahead a few days and have some fun in Florida too.

Day off tomorrow

Tomorrow is my day off this week! I have a few hours where I will not have anybody else in the house, so I am figuring on doing some sorting and pricing for the garage sale at the end of the month.
In the evening/late afternoon, I plan to use the hot tub and get some laundry done. Maybe I will make a new recipe.

    The day has been going good. I went and exercised first thing this morning. It does feel good knowing that all the sorting is a good thing.

Setting a new goal

Today at work I determined that my new goal is to make one new dish each week, instead of trying to make a meal comprised of all new dishes. I am finding that I get the ingredients to make a bunch of new dishes, and then I do not feel like making them all. This weekend, I think I am going to try "Beef and Broccoli stir-fry."

    On Sunday I made 3 recipes, so that was nice. First time making Dutch apple bread. Used Splenda in a cookie recipe for my husband.

Seeking help

Today I saw a therapist for the first time, to try to help me deal with the stressors in life. I know that stress affects fibromyalgia, so I have to work on figuring it out. I know it will take time, but I hope the time will be worth it.

    I have some friends that have raved about their therapy sessions. It really helped them a lot, one to get over anxiety and one to deal with the loss of her husband. I am interested in trying it out myself. Good luck!! I hope it helps you out!!

    Good for you. What a coincidence, I spent my lunch our TRYING to find one. I suffer from a little bit of depression and yes this kind of stuff depression, stress can play havic with our bodies. I don't know you but I will say I am proud of you !

Rehydrating.

Today I did not get my necessary water amount while at work, but I am making that up this evening. I used the hot tub, and having been refilling my water glass quite often. Tomorrow I have a high school concert to go to, so no gym, but I will get my exercise for the week one way or another.
