SO, yesterday I was very good all day, knowing that I was going to be drinking last night. I was conscious of what I drank, but I had decided to let loose and not worry too much. Through the course of the night I had about 4 drinks and 4 shots, but only with sugar-free redbull and diet coke, so I kept off calories there. I estimated at 10 oz of booze, although there's really no way to be totally sure. I can account for what I poured in my apartment, but not the 3 drinks I had at the bar, so I just have to guess. When I came home I had a peice of bread with some peanut butter (great for preventing hangovers).
So, I ended the night at:
BMR 1750 + 387 burned = 2137 - 2261 = -124 so that reduces my weekly deficit to 1776. Not as bad as I feared! Plus I did a lot of dancing but I didn't track it, so it may be better...I figured it was a good exchange for the possibility that I had more booze than I realized.
Although, I just realized the label for liquor I used to track doesn't list it under carbs. Going by the calorie count, it would be 166 for the booze, so 337 carbs total.
So all in all, I feel like I did pretty well. I had a lot of protein, and the only reason my percentages are so low is the alcohol, which I knew it would be. Plus, this morning we went for 'breakfast' (it was after noon) at Perkins, and although the omelettes and american fried potatoes looked really good, I ordered oatmeal and two basted eggs with OJ and coffee...and I brought my own creamer for a treat since I was having a healthy breakfast, even post-drinking.
And of course, what is a blog about going out without photos? So here they are!
There was a funny one we took at the bar (this guy was wearing a panda hat and I had fun with that) but I have to wait for Maria to email it to me.

I have been awesome today. Yep, I am singing my own praises...surely that is a good thing to do, when we spend so much time downing on oursel\ves. But, I've leave it to you to decide.
I started out my day by sleeping until I was ready to wake up. I took my dog for a nice workout, with an estimated 600 calorie burn. I cleaned my kitchen, got ready and went shopping with friends. I brought a balance bar with me to snack on. We stopped at Quiznos for dinner, and I tried to be healthy by ordering what the guy said was healthier, the honey mustard chicken, on a salad instead of a bun. I asked him for the nutrition information, and he said it was 1090 calories. WHAT?!??
So, my friends, I canceled my order and left without anything. Even though I was time crunched, and even though I LOVE Quiznos, I wasn't confident that I'd be able to choose something that fit in my caloric budget. So, I ran home and had a high fiber wrap with turkey and cheese, dijon that I added a little honey to myself, amd a diet ginger ale. I even had junior mints at the movie and two drinks afterwards, and I was able to have another wrap with peanut butter for a snack just now. My stats are:
Carbs 186 45%
Fat 53 27%
Protein 121 27.5%
Sodium was a little over, by 500 mg, but much better than yesterday.
1750+600= 2350 - 1760 = 590 deficit. So my weekly deficit stands at 1900. I would have to make 800 calorie deficit both tomorrow and Sunday to get a 1lb loss. I probably won't. I'll be happy to shoot for 500 tomorrow, maybe a little higher Sunday but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm just proud of myself for today!

So these obviously aren't true 'before' pix. That would have been about 50 lbs ago. However, I'm on a little personal challenge to lose 10 lbs in 3 months, and I want to be able to see my progress clearly so I can really evaluate how much I need to lose. So, here they are! (Don't mind the kennel in the way)
These are the closer ones I took a couple nights ago, horrible but the farther away ones will be harder to see the difference, so...ugh.
And this one I took after I got on most of my gear for running...I wear a shirt, obviously, but I love this aerie bra and how it matches the pants...I'm gonna have to get some more!
So not exactly the day I started, but there you have it!

Body fat 25.4%
Chest 36.5 inches (no bra)
ribcage 32.5 inches
Not really concerned about the weight, I know I ate a lot of sodium these last couple of days. I more jumped on the scale just to get the percentages recorded. :)
