So after all was said and done, I was pretty good on the calories yesterday. Ooops, just realized I forgot to add that cherry coke...ok, wasn't AS good as I thought, but still not bad. Adding in the coke, my calories were 1439. I didn't get much protein at all, which I will make up for today, but that still gives me a calorie deficit of 452 yesterday, so that's something. I'll try and be good the rest of this week, especially getting in protein and my strength exercises. I will have to work extra hard to get my 7000, but I can do it!
Biked in to work today, although I did not really want to get up this am...lol I didn't have much of a choice tho, Mike has taken to sleeping in the middle of the bed, and I can't exactly move him, he's a lot of dead weight. He rolled over onto his tummy this morning after my alarm went off and left me about 1/6th of the bed...no reason to stay! So I feel good for having biked in, but I'm tired. I look forward to hanging at home tonight and doing nada..last week was too busy.

Well I don't think I did too poorly yesterday, for calories. I didn't track them, but I was conscious of what I was eating. Volunteering was fun, it was really nice outside and I coated myself with sunscreen a few times since it was so sunny. It was fun to be involved and surprising how many people thanked us for volunteering. I was at an ice and sponge table, so once we got started we couldn't give them out fast enough, and it's not something you can stockpile...the ice melted too fast.
So after that we had to clean up and then I came home and took a nap. Then I met up with my friends and we went out. I had two glasses of champange and two glasses of wine, which I made the ultimate mistake of topping off with a jag bomb...ick. Last night did not end well, and today has been one big headache. Not exactly the most productive use of my day. But, I guess I can use some R&R after my last few days of not getting much rest and being busy. I didn't do any strength last week, and it didn't happen today. I'm going to aim for Tuesday and Thursday this week on the strength, and still try to get my 7000 deficit. I've only had about 350 cals today so far, but I'm getting a pizza for Mike and myself for dinner that should bring that right up.
Ick. This is why I don't like to go out drinking...I am fine sitting at home and having one glass of wine, but when I am out with friends and everyone is taking shots....blech. Well, I probably won't be doing that for awhile, since my friend is moving tomorrow, sad. Aside from going down to Lincoln for the 4th, I don't really have plans for anything but being outside and focusing on my fitness. I'm going to try and cut back on spending...alcohol costs a lot...although, not as much as gas now, apparently.

Well I had a good bike ride home, then I went and got Quiznos for Mike and me for dinner. Now, I figured their regular would be like 1.5 the size of a small, so I got a regular Honey Burbon Chicken, figuring it would come in around 470 calories..the small is 320. According to their site, the regular is 600, which is almost twice the small! It sure didn't look that much bigger to me, but oh well. I can't complain too much, I didn't eat enough yesterday, so it's good I got the protein in today.
That put me at a deficit of 838 today, leaving 1312 for tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to make it. I'll be outside volunteering at the marathon water station all day and I'm not going to want to exercise when I get done, and then I'm going out because it's my friends last weekend in town and we're doing it up. So, I'll be short of the 7000 this week...but better than I have been, as of late!
I don't have anything going on next week at all so I'm really going to try for it.

My scale is finally going in the right direction, slowly, I lost another pound and am down to 163! That still leaves me 4 lbs to lose before 7/4/08, but its less than 167. I managed to get down 1115 calories last night, I was just so warm and icky feeling it was a struggle...and I don't think a bit of it was really healthy. I had about half a fillet of tilapia and a couple strawberries, but otherwise my meals yesterday were just for the sake of getting calories in, I had pb toast, a skinny cow ice cream sandwich, a couple of beers at volleyball, and a protein bar, in addition to my tilapia and strawberries.
I didn't sleep well last night, either..not sure why. I'm not tired today, so maybe I'm just adjusting to the weather being suddenly warm and not hibernating as much. I did bike in to work today, so with the exception of tuesday and wednesday, i've gotten an hour or more of exercise in every day this week, and that makes up for two days I didn't. :)
Deficit for yesterday, 1395, so far for the week 4850. 2150 in the next two days to get 7000!

Got a good 55 minutes of hard biking to work and back yesterday, and ended up with a calorie deficit of 1057. I'm supposed to hit the gym today after work but if my friend that moved to CO can squeeze me in I'm skipping it..who knows when I'll see her again! So I'll just try and keep my calories down. If I do get a workout in, that means I get a treat later!
