Last week marked the start of spring, which I've eagerly been waiting for. The weight as been ticking off slowly over the winter, and my work out motivation has been nothing like it was last summer and fall. Which means my mood has been in the toilet. I'm looking forward to refreshing exercises.
I've been reading John Hewitt's "Complete Yoga Book", which has some great limbering exercises for beginners, so that I can put together a program that will help me strengthen and limber. Although, I hope to keep practicing the Sun Salutation still, even though I know my form would make most Yogins cry.
I'm thinking that my meal planning that last couple weeks hasn't been done as well as I could. I've been craving meat proteins, especially red meats. Of course, I've been under a lot of work stress, and I always crave fatty, red meat when I'm stressed.
In other positive news, I got into graduate school! I start in an MA program this fall. I'm very, very excited. And I have plenty of time to hit my weight loss goal before I start with the stresses of school!
