Meal Plan Day #1

I'm really liking the meal plan so far; easy to make, not a lot of cooking. I can see that these will also pack well when school starts again. I'm a little hungry, but since I'm also cutting back on coffee, that's to be expected. I'm also breaking the habit of eating every 2.5-3 hours. (Thanks Medifast!) Well, time to go for that walk!

Well, after starting to mosey around this site yesterday and this morning, I'm all in. I printed out the vegetarian menu plan and took the grocery list with my to Giant Eagle (shudder). Of course, I had completely forgotten that I was going to be at a conference for a full day and didn't account for that in my shopping. Oh, well. I'll just keep non-perishable meals for next week.

Just tracking my food yesterday and today has given me the right start. I walked on the treadmill yesterday for 10 minutes (HATE treadmills!) and am so happy I can get outside now that the rain stopped for today's jaunt.

I just have to keep saying to myself "Just because it's vegan doesn't mean it's healthy. Beer, margaritas, and potato chips....never more. At least not til goal!

    what about slicing up your veggies, especially sweet potatoes , and drying them into chips. no frying, just a spritz of pam, put in the oven and tet them dry out a bit
