Still having trouble being consistent

I'm still struggling with making good food choices. I know what I should be doing, but can't seem to get it done. I exercise some, but not every day and still find myself making poor food choices. I know I'm not the only one in this boat, but it is frustrating.

    We've all been there, just keep working towards the healthier lifestyle. One tip is to have healthy food like fruits, nuts, or healthy grains on hand so you can reach for them instead of the junk. Also, try to sneak in a few minutes of exercise at a time. It's easy to find excuses for 30 minutes or an hour, but I'm sure you can find 2 minutes here and there to exercise. Those little bursts add up and make a difference in your attitude as well. It's so much more fun to say "I did it!". Keep at it and I know you'll reach your goals if you put your mind and focus to it.

    If you have junk food in your house, toss it! You can't eat what you don't have on hand. If all you have are healthy choices, you can't help but make the right decisions! Good luck! emoticon

Trying to be consistent, not there yet

I'm trying to get to the point where I am consistent about keeping up healthy eating and exercising habits. I want to be in shape, so I can have enough energy to keep up with the work I need to do here on the farm and to keep up with my kids activities. Last year, I lost 40 pounds, but have managed to gain them all back. I'm having a hard time keeping on track, but I'm not giving up. I appreciate all the support I receive on sp and everyone on here.     It is hard...but NEVER gives up. Try letting go of ONE bad habit at a time…while working on all rest. Once you master that, work on another one...ONE AT A TIME!

Getting my eating habits changed

The past two days I have been doing a better job of making healthy food choices. I decided to start the fit food challenge. I have to make some modifications due to my food allergies, but it gives me some good ideas. So far so good. I have been doing the challenge for 2 days now. Hopefully this will become a good habit again of eating healthier foods. Now I need to get to exercising, too.

Eating right

I am really having trouble sticking with eating healthy foods. I start out well, but always seem to slip up before the day is over. I can't seem to get my exercise into each day either. I'll just keep plugging along, I guess!

I did a little better today in the healthy eating department. I have had two healthy meals so far and a not so healthy snack.That's better than I have been doing! I will be eating a healthy supper tonight. Still haven't managed to get much exercise. One step at a time. I will gradually get there.
