Oh My Goodness.... SOOOO SORE!!!

Guess I overdid It or I have just been THAT inactive.
Yesterday I went to The gym for a Total of 3 Hours.

Well Last night I could Barely walk to Bed.
Feeling a Bit better today BUT i was so Tired last night I slept Through Going this Morning!!!
I was supposed to Do my training with my trainer. (UHOH)
I just knew if i went today i probibly wouldnt have been Able to Walk outta There.

So DH is Going back tonight For an Orientation, Im not sure if I can Join him OR i might go to The Beginners Pilaties Class and See what its Like. And Maybe some Eliptical too.

I am Going In the Morning to Do WATER arobics, Maybe that Will help the PAin some.
Hopefully That will Help change It up for Me.

    Yeah I didnt Work Out the Entire time (Hot tub LOL)
I would Say it was around an hour Total On the machines and I did Some Swimming Last night.

Well I didnt Go this Morning, Instead I am Going (Hopefully) tonight to The Yoga/Pilaties class.

    Ooooh, I think you overdid it, just a little! Poor you, hope you feel better after the water aerobics, it should ease the lactic acid build up in your muscles. Take it easy and build up the exercise gradually otherwise you may get an injury, 3 hours is far too long if you're just starting out. emoticon

First Day At The GYM!

Well Today Was my first Day at the Gym!
I was there for an Hour and a Half.
My son LOVED the Play area and Had a Blast.

I did 25 Mins of Eliptical, 5 Mins of Stationary Bike, 20 Mins of Treadmill, 5 Mins of Rope Pulling (crazy Little machine But neat and I felt the BURN lol), I also tried Our Several Diff. Machines as well.

I plan to Go back This Evening I HOPE with Hubby and Do some Swimming, And Relax in the Hot tub while Our son plays In the play area (He has WAyy to Much energy LOL)

I also Weighed Myself and So far Since THURSDAY, I have Went from 259 Down to 255!!!
Im sure Most of That was Water Weight, But its a Nice Motivator.
I will Post my actual Weight Loss On friday After I weigh at the gym.

    thats amazing on the 4 lb weight loss..Congrats! I've never been to the Gym, but have a fitness center at my apts...I need to go more often, but I have a hard time with the mirrors. Keep it up. Good luck.

Got The GYM membership!

WOO HOO!
But i got Such a Good Deal I am Going to Just Lower My TV plan so My son can Still watch PBS Sprout (he is 2 and LOVES all the Shows)
Might also Lower our Internet Speed.
Just so We can Afford A 40.00 a Month Joint Gym Membership with hubby ;-)

Im quite Excited and Hope that We can Afford to Do it Like this, I am So ready to Start Getting active!
Set Up my Blackberry with a TON of Music for Tuesday Morning.
I also Have a Personal Trainer for 2 Visits to Show me What equipment to Use and How.

    Way to go!! I think it is great that you are making sacrifices for your health.

Hmm Giving Up Internet and Cable for a Healthy Life??

Well, I have an Important Decision To make.
I am Contemplating Getting My internet and Cable tv Shut off.
I figure This way i can Spend More time On my Self and My son rather than getting distracted By the Computer or The TV.

I want to use the Money for a Gym membership I can USE (No distractions At Home )

I do Have Internet On my Blackberry So i can Keep Everyone Updated and Such.
BUT i wonder, What Do you all think?

    I dont believe i could do this. Tv, helps me take my mind off other things, such as eating.I like the internet, only started learning computers last Jan 08. When i cant go to church i like to watch Charles Stanley.I do believe you can regulate your TV. for your child.I am a Christion Preschool Teacher and there are good things as well as NOT so good on TV.I believe it will be entirely up to you. Im sure you will make the right choice for your family. Caroline

    I would luv to do cut off the cable \ internet....... just to see how life would change. I internet and tv all day/night so I know it would be rough in the beginning.......I think it would get me out of the house and more involved / active if I ditched it. We have a college student here and my husband will not agree....Some shows have done experiments where people give it up for a short period and it seems the people always end up pleased. Good luck........let us know the outcome.

    I could live without cable fairly easily. But no internet?? Heck no. I would rather cut off an appendage. Or two. And just on the blackberry would not cut it.

But that's just me. Do what is best for you

    I think cable tv is easy to live without. I have a DTR- not one on subscription. I set it to record my very favourite things, then if I want to watch something I just look through the library. If it's empty then theres nothing to watch. I have stopped even looking on live Tv. It really cuts down my viewing hours!

Slim Fast... And Slowly changing My diet.....

Well I am Doing Some Slim Fast In my diet.
I am So busy Sometimes I dont have time to Eat.
I have so many issues With fast food That if I do Eat it I wind Up in the bathroom in less than 30 Mins.
So i started the slim fast so I wouldnt have this problem and so far so good.
I do Feel a Bit better and Less Hungry When I do Eat.
I'm having trouble with Eating GOOD so As of Now I am Working On SLOWLY increasing my Water Intake, Fruit and Veggies, and Even on my exercise.
I Figure after going Cold turkey So many times and FAILING I'm Sure That This method Will work Better for me.
I have Been Cutting Back on The sweets but Indulging In tiny Bites When I want something.

This is Going to be a LONG hard Road for me But I'm willing to try it Out for The sake of Myself and My family.

I REALLY WANT TO CHANGE,
Especially since I went to The store the Other day and NOTHING FIT!!!
I'm Desperate to Get Back down to a Decent Size so I can Buy Clothes at ANY Store.

I DONT want to Be a Skinny Person, I dont Think its Even Possible with My Bone structure, I am Only Shooting for 175.
IF i can get to that Point I might Be willing to Go for 150.
But as of Now I Hope to Hit 175 By next Year.

    I love your idea of taking it slowly and not doing everything cold turkey. I think I have that idea in my head and I need to change it to work on things slowly instead of jumping in the deep end right away! Thanks!
