Can't believe it ! Went on vacation and put 2 pounds back on! Two days later I have lost 3 pounds and am at a weight I haven't seen in 5 years! Really true about not denying your body all the time - it goes into starvation mode and hangs on to the calories. Seems that when the body knows it will be 'treated well' it gives up the weight faster! Yippeeee!

I know exactly how you feel. This is the first time that a weight loss program has worked for me. I have NEVER been successful in the past and I still can't believe that this program is working! Stay focused and you will definately see results! Have a great day! emoticon

2 pounds is better than 10! No biggie! Travelling also causes bloating.. so drink lots of water!

Thanx to those who encouraged me after my bout of depression following my valentine's indulgence..........the pounds I put on have gone! Hallejuh! I guess it is true that if you allow your body to celebrate once in awhile it is not so likely to hold on the fat for survival purposes. Anyway, I am really happy to be back on track.

A cheat day can be helpful. Back on track is a great place to be. GL

Valentine's Day

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

I am so upset. I totally fell off the wagon tonight. Was taken out for a beautiful Valentines' Day dinner and ate like a pig. Wine, chocolate fondue......etc. I dread getting on the scales tomorrow. Wish my metabolism was not crawling. All that hard work and poof I am back to where I was a week ago. Disgusted with myself! emoticon

Thanks for the encouragement , I need it. I feel fat and this is discouraging after being on such a high for the last week having lost 10 lbs. and feeling great. Back to the grind, but it really doesn't seem fair that we have to do all this work to stay slim. emoticon

Don't worry, for heaven's sake! And don't be so hard on yourself! Relax and be glad you showed your gratitude to the one who took you out by eating! You can begin again tomorrow and above all, don't let the scale be the deciding factor of your emotions!! It's a pure waste of energy!

It's only one day. You can't do that much damage in only one day. You will be super motivated and back on track tomorrow! emoticon
