Should I start fresh with a new account?

I keep going up and down with my weight loss progress. I am wondering if I should scrap this one and start all over again. It gets really depressing seeing how I would do really good then slip back to old habits. Maybe a clean slate is what I really need to get things going again.

    I wouldn't bother scrapping, you can always edit and change your sparkpage to give a feeling of newness. Plus everything you've written, tracked and logged previously is a good way to understand what works and what doesn't work, what situations help and which ones hinder your progress.

This process is as much about learning who you are, how you tick, and what works for you as it is about watching your ticker go down. Take the lessons of the past and use them as valuable insights not reminders of failures. emoticon emoticon

Getting Back to Reducing Carbs

Sometimes I just want to kick myself for getting away from the carb control way of eating. When I am eating the low carb way, I am less sluggish and feel better physically. Five days into this and I am down 6 lbs. I know some of it is water weight but, I feel better. I guess because I have done this before, the induction phase is easier. I have also been walking a half hour daily & hope to increase that soon. It feels nice having the energy to walk that half hour.

Hanging in there this time

In August I restarted my journey to better health and it seems to be sticking. I am down almost 20 lbs and feeling great! I was even able to do well on our vacation to Wyoming earlier this month. I tried to make healthy food choices and got a bit of walking in on our visit to The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone!

Closing in on the 40 lb loss mark!

Just 2 lbs to go! When I first started over I weighed in a 253, that was just 2 lbs below my all-time highest weight. I am now down to 215!

What a difference limiting the "junk", eating healthier, drinking my water and getting in my workouts everyday makes! I feel so much better and hardly ever have that "sluggish" feeling! I might just reach that goal I set for the end of June! All my pants are starting to get so loose!

Target date set for my return to ONEderland

I have set June 25th for my target for my return to onederland. That gives me 2 months to lose 18 lbs. Can I do it? I believe that I can.

If I lose 2 lbs./week I will meet that goal. I have become more aggressive with my workouts and am tracking my calorie intake, watching my sodium/ sugar/carb intake closer. Drinking lots of water too and being more consistent taking a multi-vitamin!
