The Ultimate Fat Kid Snack (recipe and photo guide)

What you will need

1 package of oreos
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1 brownie mix prepared per box directions

Step One -
take an oreo and spread with peanut butter
place another oreo on top of it, and spread with more peanut butter

Step Two -
Place in muffin tin

Step Three -
add brownie batter

Step 4
Bake at 350 for 20 mins

Nutrition information:
Completely unhealthy
As far as I can tell, given the information from the brownie box, peanut butter jar and oreo package - roughly 400 calories each

Why did I make these you may ask? Especially if I am not going to eat them?

I made them for my boyfriend and co-workers. Healthy eating and habits aren't really important to them. I work with a few people who no matter what they eat stay skinny as a rail. They like when I make treats, so I will make them treats.

In other news, I am roasting a chicken for dinner

Oh, and I am 1.2 pounds away from my goal weight now -- yay!!

    I'm lauging about the pics and how 'seductive' they are! Hope your boyfriend and the coworkers enjoyed them. BTW there are great and easy to make recipes around for cookies with dried fruits - sweet but no sugar added...

    I salute you on your ability to bake and not sample!! I'm not sure I could have done it! I've never tried this and I like all those things.

The Holy Grail (Photos)

ahh yes... the Holy Grail... I speak not of a cup but rather a... Pair of Jeans!

A pair of Levis jeans that my mother purchased in 1976, before her and my father were married. My mother and I have always looked at these Jeans as our ideal size. If we could wear them, then all was right with the world. Thing is... I could NEVER fit in them in my adult (ok, my adult and since the age of 12) life.

Well guess what??

After being able to not only fit in them, but find out they were a little on the too big side it made my day.

I also made my famous chocolate peanut butter filled cupcakes with peanut butter icing. After my mother and I figured out that each cupcake clocks in at about 400 calories each... I didn't even want to touch them! Why? Because I can wear these jeans!!! The fact I can wear these jeans after not being able to since age 12 makes me not even want to go off plan.

I did it! I freaking did it!!!

Today ended up being alright!

The day started out pretty crappy. I woke up early with a horrible headache. So I took some Tylenol, and went back to bed. I woke up two hours later, with it hurting worse than it did the first time I woke up. I took two more Tylenol and got an ice pack and went back to bed. I finally woke up for good around 9 and it was almost gone. After a hot shower, it seemed alright. I have problems with the muscles in my shoulders and neck tensing and knotting up. When they tense up, I get the most horrible headaches. It feels like someone is stabbing behind my eyes with a pick ax.

I went to the library today and volunteered for 4 1/2 hours. It was nice. I didn't really do much, other than assist patrons, and schedule facebook posts for the library's page. It was good to be with friends though.

After the library I hit the gym for some weights and cardio. My hip is still bothering me, but I managed to get some intervals in today.

I had support group tonight, and it was a really great topic. The plastic surgeon was in to talk about various things. That is freaky stuff! I don't know... I don't think I am getting anything done unless it is a real bother!

Spending the rest of the night relaxing!

    I have a friend ~60 that lost ~80 lbs (no WLS). Then had breast implants, a tummy tuck and an arm lift. Her body looks TERRIFIC! but out of sync with her face.

Made me think abt the arm surgery tho emoticon hers was $5k and the rest was $19k more.

She said she would do it all again in a heartbeat!

My Stupid Hip.. ugh!! Frustrated!!!

My hip needs to knock it off!!

It is really beginning to interfere with my training! Every time I try to run, I make it a few minuets, then the dang thing starts hurting again, and feels like it is going to pop out. So, I have to slow down to a walk then run again... I know I can make it 1/4 to 1/2 a mile if it would just stop acting up!!

I went to the chiropractor, and he put it back in place twice. Then as soon as I started working out again, it started hurting! It seems like going to the chiropractor is useless. I am thinking about trying out the local "Witch doctor" and see if she can help. Maybe some kind of reflexology might help?

I had a great session with my trainer today. We worked on a lot of core exercises and leg ones. She is working with me to strengthen my hip. She is hoping that if I can make it stronger it won't give me so many problems.

I made meatloaf for dinner, and it turned out quite well. I was pleased with it. Later on this week, I am going to make a whole chicken in the crocpot.

As a special treat, I also got some sugar free angel food cake, and am enjoying a 1oz slice (yes, I weighed it) with sliced strawberries and cool whip free. It is a great treat!

  I feel for you on the hip pain! I deal with the same issue, and it always seems like the treadmill makes it way worse. Hope you feel better!

    One thing that helped my college athlete dd's is to ice after every practice, workout, game. Ice in a zip loc bag works great. Wrap in a towel, put on for 20 min. It reduces inflammation.
