My hip needs to knock it off!!
It is really beginning to interfere with my training! Every time I try to run, I make it a few minuets, then the dang thing starts hurting again, and feels like it is going to pop out. So, I have to slow down to a walk then run again... I know I can make it 1/4 to 1/2 a mile if it would just stop acting up!!
I went to the chiropractor, and he put it back in place twice. Then as soon as I started working out again, it started hurting! It seems like going to the chiropractor is useless. I am thinking about trying out the local "Witch doctor" and see if she can help. Maybe some kind of reflexology might help?
I had a great session with my trainer today. We worked on a lot of core exercises and leg ones. She is working with me to strengthen my hip. She is hoping that if I can make it stronger it won't give me so many problems.
I made meatloaf for dinner, and it turned out quite well. I was pleased with it. Later on this week, I am going to make a whole chicken in the crocpot.
As a special treat, I also got some sugar free angel food cake, and am enjoying a 1oz slice (yes, I weighed it) with sliced strawberries and cool whip free. It is a great treat!

Ok, I am not a football fan. I would rather spend the Super Bowl watching reruns of Law and Order.
the boyfriend will be watching it, so I figure I will just read and watch the commercials.
he wants me to stop and pick up KFC for dinner. I have no problem doing that. I am not sure if I am going to have any or if I am going to eat something else. I am sure it won't be my downfall if I get a piece or 2 of the grilled and eat it without the skin. I also have left over steak from last night, and I may eat that tonight. I am not quite sure yet.
This month, I am going to focus on fluids. I have such a hard time getting enough of them. I am not now, nor have I ever been a big drinker. I hate the full, sloshy feeling I get from drinking so much. I am going to do it though. My goal is to get my 8 glasses a day. I know I can!! I would also like to try to work on drinking plain water. It still tastes weird to me unless I am working out, but I am going to work on it. Maybe use some lemon or lime? I have been watching videos on how to cut them. Maybe I will buy the juice on one of those plastic things?

Only about 5 pounds to go until I hit my goal weight of 140 pounds. I would like to get a few pounds below that once I hit it in order to give myself a little wiggle room so I can play around with maintenance.
I am getting worried, and I am getting scared. I don't think I will ever be able to go back to a "normal" diet. I will always have to eat around 1,000 calories for the rest of my life in order to maintain my weight. Prior to surgery, I gained weight eating 1200-1500 a day, so I am guessing those ranges will be too high for me.
I will always have to eat a lower carb diet, and limit grains, even whole ones since my body isn't really a huge fan. Currently, I eat 1-2 servings a day depending.
I keep having nightmares that I wake up at 260 pounds.
I did the smart thing and send an email to my RD, told her my fears and asked if I should set up an appointment.
I worked on my legs at the gym today. I am doing a 14 min mile now and am quite happy with that. My hip was bothering me again, so I only went for 14 mins instead of 20.

I ordered a t-shirt from Amazon.
It was advertised at a Junior's shirt, so I ordered an XXL. Normally, I buy an XL in Junior's, but since an XXL was available, I decided to get it so I would have a little extra room in it.
It arrived in the mail today, and imagine my surprise when I opened it and it was a 2XL in adults. I am totally bummed!! I REALLY wanted the shirt!!
When I get a refund, I am going to re-order the shirt and make sure it is a Junior's size. The only problem is I can't find that color. Oh well...
Amazon has agreed to refund all of my money, I just have to send the shirt back. I will have to do that on Thursday.
Still enjoying doing nothing. It is super cold out, and I don't have to go out, so I am staying in.
Tomorrow... the gym!
