Ravenous

Monday, November 26, 2012

I set my alarm for 9pm when I really was supposed to set it for 9am. I woke up at 10:15. I have to leave my house by 10:15 because I have an appointment with my trainer at 11:00. I like to get to the gym 15-20 mins before our session so I can change my shoes and warm up.

Needless to say, I threw on my clothes and left the house without eating breakfast. That was a very bad move.

First, it was hard getting through my workout. I had zero energy about half way through. When it came to the last 15mins when we do intervals I REALLY had to push.

Second, it set me up for a bad day. I came home and had
1 egg
1 egg white
1oz of ham
1 slice of light swiss
it was a very good breakfast, but a few hours later I was hungry again. I ate a Balance Bar, and ended up throwing up. My pouch doesn't like chocolate. My RD recomended them as a quick meal incase I find myself out and about and on the run. I ate the peanut butter ones before with no issues, but then I bought the S'mores kind and they made me puke.

Eating breakfast is important!!

I think that is all for now

Hate when I mess up the alarm, at least you're learning about what works for you.

You know how temperamental our pouches get. I swear they have a mind of their own. New day tomorrow new breakfast choice. Good luck tomorrow.

I agree that breakfast is soooooo important for me to get my day to a positive start! After going all nite, my tummy is a bit nauseated in the a.m. It needs a slow wake up with hot tea followed by a good breakfast else I'm in TROUBLE emoticon

I've had times like you did when I've had to hit the floor running. I've learned to stock my fridge with 'grab & go' items such as RTD protein drinks and cheese sticks. My morning tummy is ok with this. emoticon

Happy Day!

Maybe next time just grab a piece of fruit and a handful of nuts to take along...?!
I've done that; sat there in the locker room of the gym enjoying an apple - defying the stares! lol

It's wonderful and good for you!!! What always amazes me is how a body gets narrower as well as thinner. The person in the first two pictures may be related to one another, but the person in the last picture to me has no facial resemblance to your two earlier photos and yet it is you. Congratulations!

100 pounds down - Official!

Sunday, November 25, 2012

I weighed in today at 159.8 pounds. I have lost "over" 100 pounds now! I am so excited!!

I have lost a lot of inches too! In the past month, I have lost

1.5 inches from my waist
2 inches from my hips
1/2 inch from my bust
2 inches from my arm
1 inch from my thigh
1 inch from my neck

Again, I am pretty proud of myself on that. The Workouts I have been doing with my trainer (and on my own designed by my trainer) have really been paying off.

I plan on losing at least 20 more pounds. I think 140 is very realistic and maintainable.

I wish I had some other news to share, but not much else is going on.

I had a great holiday with my family. Lots of yummy food, but I didn't over eat.

I think that is all for now

Some TMI things about losing almost 100 pounds

Monday, November 12, 2012

You know, no one really talks about it, but there are some awesome TMI things about losing almost 100 pounds!

Shaving -- I can shave much easier now. Do you have any idea how hard it is to shave your lady bits when you can't see them? Pretty hard! Not to mention how much you miss when you do it? Now that I don't have my huge stomach in the way, it is much easier to get a smooth finish with less cuts!!

Wiping - yeah, no one talks about this either. Once you drop a bunch of weight, it is a lot easier to wipe your tookiss. True Story!

Sexy times -- they always say losing weight improves your sex life. I agree/disagree on that. However, now that my huge stomach isn't in the way, I can actually "see" what is going on. That is pretty hot. Now, I don't know if it has really "improved" my sex life of not. I mean, I was always in the mood before I lost all of the weight. Now I am finding, that since I have lost weight, I have more energy. Since I have more energy, I am doing more things like bike riding and going to the gym. Since I am doing those things, when night time comes around and it is time for things to go down, I find myself asleep before the first move can be made!! However, there is the part now where I do feel sexier.

Underware - no one told me how small my underware were going to look. I now have to buy those bras that add two cup sizes and push them into my throat because they have shrunk so much! I went from busting out of a DD to barely filling a C! that is my only real complaint about losing the weight. I did like my boobies.

Painting my toes... yeah I can do that now without putting them on the coffee table.

I think that is all for now

Lazy Sunday

Sunday, November 11, 2012

I am working until 7am. I have a lazy Sunday planned.

I am going to sleep in, and it is going to be wonderful!

Then, after I get up, and have my tea, I will start laundry. While my laundry is washing/drying, I am going to watch The Green Mile on AMC while playing on the internet.

I will make my work lunches for the next few days. I have a craving for hamburgers, so that is what I am going to make. I planned on hamburger patties and glazed carrots. I think that will make a fabulous meal.

I eat the majority of my meals at work when I am there. The only meal I eat at home is breakfast.

For lunch, I am going to pack Campbell's Kickin Buffalo Chicken soup, which I add a tablespoon of reduced fat feta to in order to make it extra tasty.

For snacks, I will have greek yogurt and a banana w/ peanut butter.

At 8pm, I will tune into Once Upon a Time. At 9pm, I will take a bath and soak in the hot tub. At 10pm, 666 Park Ave is on. 11-midnight, I will write a letter to my friend Scott, who has a slight run in with the law, and had to go away for a while. Midnight - 1am, is reading. 1 am is lights out.

All in all it sounds like a pretty awesome day to me.

Monday I meet with my trainer. I can't wait!

Sounds awesome to me! I get off work at 7 am, too- and am going straight to bed. Baby Shower at 2, then nothing the rest of the day until I work again at 9pm. I'm hoping to get some good reading time in with the kids and maybe make a good dinner for once. Have a wonderful day!!!
