I remember when I was 15 and going to Weight Watchers, there was a week I only lost 1/4 of a pound. I had worked my butt off that week, and was so upset I cried. When we got home, my mom took a stick of butter out of the fridge, and said to me
"This is 1/4 of a pound. This stick of butter melted off of your body this week"
That really put things into perspective for me.

The Boyfriend and I went to the lake yesterday. It was cloudy out, but pretty warm and the water wasn't bad. It started to spit rain (which was really cold) but we figured it wouldn't hurt to wait it out. Then three bus school buses pulled in and started unloading. Three bus loads of children.... needless to say, I was packed up before they were finished.
We decided just to head home instead of going to another beach. Instead of cooking, we decided to go to a local steakhouse for dinner. It was really nice. I had steak, veggies, salad, french onion soup and ice cream... in reality, I had...
3 bites of salad
1/4 cup of soup
1.5 oz of steak
1/8 cup of broccoli
2 tablespoons of sugar free, reduced fat ice cream
all told, my meal was under 200 calories.
it was really nice. This is the first time we have been out to eat since I had my surgery in April. I have been out with other friends, but my boyfriend is a different story. When we got home we watched some tv and spent some good quality time together.

I went to the Chiropractor and got my back and neck put back into place. It was next to heaven. I made some nice cracks, and everything was right with the world again.
The doc advised that I take a break from the gym today in order to give my adjustment time to "take"
Tomorrow, my boyfriend and i are going to the lake and we are going to swim and stuff.
For dinner I made ranch chicken and carrots. Ranch chicken is super easy to make. it is a packet of ranch dressing seasoning and a few pieces of chicken. I put the seasoning on a paper plate then rolled the chicken around on the plate. I baked it and it turned out fabulous.
I bought a small watermelon at the store today, and there is way more of it than I thought there would be. I hope I can eat it up and not have it go bad.

I stopped at Chipotle and picked up my dinner tonight. I got a burrito bowl w/ cilantro lime brown rice, black beans, steak, extra pico de gallo, fajita veggies and cheese. The awesome part about it... the entire thing is 610 calories, but i can only eat 1/4 of it. That is a lot of yummy-ness for not a lot of calories. It is filling and so good. Now I have lunch tomorrow, and two more meals.
I just saw a commercial that Taco Bell is trying to jump on the Chipotle wagon... I don't think it can come close.
I met with my RD today, and she is very pleased with my progress. She wants me to get more protein. So we decided that I will add another snack to my daily food. She wants it to be a protein. She advised against protein supplements. She said they would slow my weight loss, so I am going to listen to what she says.
I stopped at my boyfriend's fave pizza shop today and bought him pizza for dinner. They also have an awesome fruit salad with watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and grapes. Ohhhh my it is yummy. I could really see myself over eating on it, so I only got a small amount.
I hurt my shin yesterday. I am not sure how, but I have had trouble walking since I got up today. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow
