So close, I can taste it!!

I weighed in today at 203.8. I have 4 pounds to go and I will be out of the two hundreds,. I haven't been at this weight since 2002 or maybe even before that. I can't believe I have gotten down this low. I still have a long way to go, but I am getting closer to my goals with each day.

I went to hang out with my friend Andrew today. We had salads in the park, then we went for an awesome walk. We did 2.7 miles in about an hour. Lots of hills to walk up.

I am on vacation this week, but I am spending the time volunteering at the library. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is Digital camera camp, and I am helping out with that. I also have an RD appointment on Tuesday. I have food logs printed out, so I am hoping she can take a look at them and give me suggestions and what not.

I think that is all for now

    Kudos to you for your vacation plans! Not only is it so great for you to give of yourself as a volunteer but it also is a way to keep busy while on vacation. I also wanted to congratulate you for having a friend like Andrew... we all need friends like that in our journeys!

I can't think of a title for today's blog

I don't really have a lot to say today. I am working another 13 hour shift, but then after this, I am off for a week.

I am meeting my friend Andrew tomorrow, and we are going on a picnic.

Not much else to report.

    My friend Andrew and I will be going for an Epic walk once the sun goes down, usually we do 4 miles.

I will be going to the gym most days, except Friday my boyfriend and I are going to the lake to go swimming.

It is going to be a great week!

My panties are in a bunch... no really, they are.

Since I have been losing weight, my undergarments are getting too big, so, I had to buy smaller ones. I bought a standard pack of Hanes Her Way cotton hipsters and I hate them. I am not used to wearing these cheap things. My bra is too big, so I bought a Playtex from Target... again, it sucks.

All of my undergarments come from Lane Bryant. They have good, high quality stuff. I usually get a few years out of the stuff I buy there, and the wear is minimal.

In other news.... I went to the gym again today and it was great!

    heheh... I just bought 2 new expensive bras. I can't buy cheap bras - or if I do they don't work and I don't wear them. I've been going for the fewer and laundry more often option.

    I so understand!!!! And why is it the boobs go first??
I've never been able to wear targets bras. I wear VS. I get the cheaper stuff. Another brand is "Maidenform." I love these! But have a hard time finding them in my town. Walmart carries the brand "Sweet Nothings" I've had luck with them, for something cheap.

    dont know your budget, but look up the enell sports bra, cost around 60 to 65 dollars, but are great bras....for us who need a little something extra, i order mine from, they are around 64 no shipping, and usually arrive in less than a week, they will take them back if they dont fit....
they are sports bras, but i wear mine all the time, it is the only bra i have found that does the job.
as for panties, haha, i myself prefer mens boxer briefs, cause i need that little extra length in front, but, i cant stand them riding up betweex the thighs, so i am stuck with el cheapo jms....until i can find a way to lose this stomach.....
but check out that enell bra, u will be hooked!!! (pun intended)! emoticon

    hilarious blog title. had to read it. :) congratulations on losing weight. if it were me i'd stick to buying the cheap stuff because you're only going to lose more weight which means having to buy smaller underwear again. ;)

I did it!

I went to the gym today.

20 mins/1.03 mile on the treadmill
10 mins on the elliptical.

When I went in, i decided I would do 30 mins on the treadmill, but then I decided about halfway through, I wanted to get in the elliptical. I did just that.

I feel great!

I am going back tomorrow. I feel a lot better about myself

Time to face the music, and admit what I have done (or rather didn't do)

I haven't been exercising.

There is no excuse for it, though I would like to think that it is because I am busy, or tired or something, but that is no excuse.

I can't expect to meet my goals if I am lazy. It is back to the gym tomorrow. No excuses. I would have went today, but they were closed.

  My problem is I can't get started to exercise - even walking! I don't know what motivation I can give myself. I have never been an outside girl - always inside reading, etc. Even in school, had health problems and didn't do many gym classes. At 55 - seems pretty ingrained.
ps - I agree we have had 100 degree days this week but no real excuse others.
I mean I know the classics - do for yourself, you'll feel better, need to live longer for the grandkids, make my husband and mother happier with a thinner person, etc.

    dont feel too bad, there should be a "i cant get off the couch and exercise group" on sp....
we have been under a nearly 2 week heat wave here, the power has been off at many of our neighbors and the temps have been staying steady at nearly 100....i have been a giant slug and havent done much at all, we will both get our mojo back!!!

    How is it going since surgery? Is your energy level better? Try breaking exercise into 10 minute sessions several times a day. Good exercise for me, too! Hello to Leroy!

    I exercised more when school was in session so I know how you feel. Every night I say I'll do more tomorrow, then it went to, I'll do more in July. I am losing weight again after a very long plateau and I was walking nearly 7 miles a day, so I have to get back on that horse and ride it. Let's encourage each other and see what happens. I will walk and you do whatever you do and get back to me if you want to do this to keep each other motivated and accountable.

    Don't beat yourself up about it!! WE ALL have days like this, even weeks!! And you don't need an excuse to not exercise, sometimes we just don't want to, but the good thing is, you want to and you know that you are going to get back at it. Look at it as a mini break you gave your body, NOW get ON it, your break is over emoticon
