I changed my tracker this morning!!! The scale said 139! I was truly dancing in the bathroom this morning. Total weigth loss as of today is 35 pounds!!!!!! Thanks Spark People!

The scale hit 140 today!!!! I was home alone getting ready for work when I stepped on the scale and I wanted to dance and sing!!! I did in my head.... I won't change my ticker on my page until Friday which is weigh in day if it stays there. (It will if I have anything to say about it) My first goal was to get to 150, then 145, then 140. Taking it in small steps so I don't get discouraged. I had to go buy all new work pants last week. I had nothing that fit. That was fun. My next goal will be 135. If I can make it there, I will be content and try to maintain. All the days of working out like crazy and eating salad and lean quisine have paid off. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!!!!!!!!!

Had a great weekend! Lots of good cardio and strength exercise! Lots of sunshine. Lots of relaxing today. Back to the grind tomorrow.

I am mad at myself!!

I have been doing so well until last night! I was upset with my hubby and I binged for the first time since January! That old emotional eater thing just reared its ugly head, I walked into the house and went straight for the fridge, cheese, taco meat, ham, then on to the crackers and then the girl scout cookies hidden in the freezer!!! Ooooh. Well today is a new day to start over again. Get control, move on, and run run run to burn off those extra calories consumed last night. Plus the hubby hasn't said a word to me about my weight loss and I've lost over 25 pounds now. Time to confront him too!

    wow the big 25 on the weight loss!! you know we are proud of you, no matter what your hubby says. this is your journey, not his!! the binge is not so bad, we all have our days. as long as you are still here and willing to keep it up, that is what matters.

I just had a rare argument with my husband. He didn't give me the feedback on the picture I drew of his parents. I'm so sensitive about my art and it does set you back. However...get back on that "Spark" horse and ride. You can get back into it. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    please don't be mad at yourself for the binge. All you were trying to do was comfort yourself. Yes, we are trying to learn new and healthier ways to soothe ourselves but we are just flesh and blood and sometimes we grab our comfort wherever we can when we are hurting.
