3-10-12 MY WEEK IN NUTSHELL

I had some week i started out with increasing my water intake, my doctor increased my medication i take at bedtime. I started my 7th month on sparkpeople.com. I started to loolk at the education modules on simplywell.com and I have learned alot. I also check out the web-sie choosemyplate . emoticon emoticon

    After a while, the water just becomes a habit. In fact, you feel lousy when you don't get enough. Just watch your sodium intake so you don't retain too much. I have to check out "choose my plate." Sounds interesting.

    I gave up caffeine for Lent. So far, I haven't killed anyone (LOL!). I was surprised that I only had a slight headache the first day. Congratulations on your water challenge success so far.
It does make a big difference.

    Cool! I always drink water during exercise and after. Its easier to get in more than one glass when your sweating hard and thirsty! Which would make it easier (at least for me) to make it to eight glasses. emoticon emoticon

    I've found that drinking 8 8 oz glasses of water a day really helps me feel better and keep on track. I drink a lot of it while riding my stationary bike. I polish off 16 oz by drinking a big sip every 5 minutes. Since I ride my bike 3 times a day, then I only have to drink 16 ounces beyond what I drink while riding. I always order water when we eat at a restaurant. It does become a habit after a while.
