Day 19 NLP

Day 19 New Life Plan

Having an awesome DAY !

It is day 19 of my NEW PLAN and all is going great ??? Excellent

1) eating right? Yes !

2)calories in healthy range? Yes !

3)exercise ? 4miles walking at the mall, found some nice shirts for 5 bucks too hehe __ miles rest of days activities .
calories burned walking alone 1100
calories eaten 1840


4) blog for motivation? Check !

5) read other blogs and posts for extra motivation? Check !

6) weight loss-not required but nice to see--? lost 1.6 pound .

7 day lost 2 pounds .
16 day start 295.8 loss 3.8 pounds-

7) Did I get 7 hours of sleep last night? 9 hours ..tossed and turned so grabbing a nap.Nap was great I am much better now.

8) How do I feel about my progress... scale 1 to 10 ? 9 was lacking on rest and sure could tell during my walking aches n Paine's were a plenty.I am going to take it easy tomorrow as well as Sat. Will go all out for 11 plus miles again on sunday. I think my little 3 to 4 mile hikes slowly shouldnt hurt ne thing.

Walking fix (Am I a junkie?? )

Hey all ,

I hope all of you guys and cute gals had a nice afternoon. I know I did ! I watched a movie and then went for a nice hike. My problem came in when I was about to stop walking. You see I didn't want to STOP. I had walked 10.5 miles yesterday and after only around 5 miles today I was feeling like I had not done enough.
This coming from the guy that Mr. Webster met before coining the definition "Couch Potato".
I have been walking at least some for about a month now and can see the results in stamina and strength. It is amazing how great I feel from adding walking into my daily life !
If I am a junkie , I don't want no rehab!!! emoticon

    Good for you - I don't have anywhere really to walk here, and the weather is usually hot so I don't really like walking for exercise. But when I'm in a place with gorgeous weather, I love doing it!

    No, you're not a junkie - you're exercising and you're healthy. Walking is great exercise, and is what we were built to do. That, or jogging. Running not quite so much, but we are built to walk/jog for hours at a time.

Before running, I walked, a lot. 40-60 km (25-37 miles) per week, and at a 10-11 minute/km pace, that was a lot of time, but it was time well spent.

Keep on walking - it will do you good!

    Oh, I love to walk. Can't wait til my knee is better and I can get going. This is such a nice time of year, at least where I live, to move it!

    I know the feeling. Walking is my passion. I do it every chance I get. I used to walk 12 miles every day until I developed some issues with my feet. Now, 8 foot surgeries and orthotics later, I am back up to between 5-7 every day. Because I have little to no feeling from the balls of my feet to my toes, it's not really recommended that I go much farther than that. We walking junkies got to stick together though. If you're interested, I started my own team called "Crazy for Walking". I'm looking for more members! Enjoy your walks! emoticon

3)exercise ? 3 mile hike/walk at chestnut ridge 2.5 miles rest of days activities .
calories burned walking alone 1045
calories eaten 1609


4) blog for motivation? Check !

5) read other blogs and posts for extra motivation? Check !

6) weight loss-not required but nice to see--? gained 1 pound .

7 day lost .2 pounds .
15 day start 295.8 loss 2.2 pounds-

7) Did I get 7 hours of sleep last night? 9 1/2 hours !

8) How do I feel about my progress... scale 1 to 10 ? 9.5
No weight loss today takes away only .5 now. I can see that every few days I will go up and down depending on water.
I was very pleased to see slight definition in my biceps when i flexed in the mirror. small victory but still a win!

My Best day so far !

1st day i have been able to out work my intake !

6) weight loss-not required but nice to see--? lost .2 .

No this is not a infomercial emoticon

I have been on 5 zillion diets !!!
You know why none of them work?




I am addicted to food.

I got to feel full.

So I do now and I am losing weight .

O.K. so just a few so far, may be check me out in 6 months .

Waite till they get a load of me Mah!!!

Eating plenty of vegetables( I ate 14 servings of veges and fruits today) i mean plenty makes me feel full...
Simple: no oils just vege stir fry a little water n season ..Thats the basics to it.


I love it Day 16 and still going great.

    AWESOME! I went vegan and whole, raw foods ROCK! I stay full, too, and cravings are pretty much null and void! Glad you are feeling it, too! Keep it up....keep on Sparking! :)
