Finally lost a pound! WooHoo! I like this Special K protein plus cereal. It has 10g protein and 5g fiber. I know it will be a new favorite for me. I am taking the kids & grandkids to the Toledo zoo today so I will get plenty of walking which will be fun. I don't like walking just for exercise. This coming week I am setting an exercise goal. I ordered the sparkpeople 28 day exercise video plus their other two videos. I do love to do the Wii Just Dance with the kids. It's so much fun and really gives me a good workout. We are building a deck on the back of our house in about a month so that will be great exercise too. I am so happy to have connected with a few people on this site. I think encouraging each other will help all of us! It's going to be a great day!!

Today I weighed 173...again. I haven't eaten enough calories to reach my daily goals and I think my metabolizim is slowing down. I'm going to try to increase my calories to at least 1200 this week to see if it helps. I'm making healthier choices! I just need to stop trying to lose quicker by bending the rules.

    I eat 1,200-1,500 cals/day, and have been losing body fat. I am here for you for support when you need it.

    Sounds like your shooting yourself in the foot by limiting your calorie intake so much. This isn't a race, it doesn't matter when you get to your goal because the minute you do you've "won". And along the way you will of learned a completely different way of living, the healthy way! I'm glad to hear your going to increase your calories this week...follow the plan and remember this isn't a "diet", it truly is a change in your lifestyle......it didn't come on overnight and it won't leave that quickly either....you can do this...but do it the right way and you'll be successful and you'll keep it off. Your health and fitness is what counts...not the numbers on a scale....
