I didn't say that when I ate high calorie food everyday and sat on the couch. I didn't gain a pound every week. Sometimes I didn't gain a pound in a whole month! I gained my weight gradually over time and eventually I ended up at 184 lbs.
Well, I haven't lost a pound in a while. Surprisingly I'm not freaking out this time! I'm not getting angry because I have counted every calorie and exercised and the number on the scale didn't go down. I know my body will adjust gradually and eventually I will end up at 130lbs. I'm confident to follow my plan and let my body adjust to the positive, healthy changes I am making. Some weeks it won't show on the scale or a tape measure. On those weeks I envision wonderful changes going on inside my body...those fat cells are adjusting...those muscles are becoming firmer...my body organs are working better!! Every healthy choice I make - makes a difference!!!
I know reading all the articles, posts, blogs, messages, etc... on SP has made a difference in my attitude. I am embracing my journey and it feels good:)
