I started homeschooling my 5 year old kindergartener 2 weeks ago due to the principal being a jerk and refusing to keep my son in the right class simply because the school chose to "officially enroll" my son as one of the last kindergarteners. The school system hired a new kindergarten teacher only 2 weeks ago. My son, Eli, is very high strung and hyper and he has adjustment issues. His teacher even told the principal this. The principal refused to work with us so my oldest 2 are still attending, but my little guy is at home with me! So my day started out with getting my oldest 2 off to school and homeschooling Eli. Then I got to take a nap with my baby boy, Amery. Gabriel and Eli stayed quiet playing video games. Amery had a rough night last nght so I was pretty tired.
Then Gabriel went down for his nap and I cleaned and played with Eli, got Gabriel up, and got the older kids off the bus. Today was my last day keeping my niece and nephew as my sister has decided to start letting their grandfather pick them up from school rather than ride the bus to my house (they live outside city limits). My grandma came over just in case my sister couldn't get anyone to keep my niece and nephew so I could load up my 5 and take my girl off to dance. Her recital is Friday so she has her dress rehearsal tomorrow night.
Thennnn, I came back home, cooked dinner (breakfast for dinner yum!), my honey got the kids to bed (all except Miss Chloe who fell asleep on the couch doing homework...it will be an early morning for the princess!). Now I am in bed, doing my spark people thing and watching my shows that were DVR'd!
Here's a wonderful picture to make you smile!

Today is a new day. I have started drinking my water, eaten pretty darn healthy, and I have a pretty good attitude, even though, I have a head cold. We are getting ice cold rain so no walking outside but I think I will get these buns-a-movin' and get my house clean. I can burn calories cleaning my house...I have 5 children for pete's sake, there is always something to do! Right?
Then, I will make my son's blanket (procrastination is another one of my downfalls!), make some hairbows, prepare my 5 year olds homeschool lessons for the week, paint my nails, and get ready for tomorrow!
Here's my motivational quote for the day:

I made a deal with my precious daughter, Chloe, that I would cut my soda and sweets if she did. She is 8 years old and is a beautiful dancer. This past year, when we moved, she decided to take a year off from dance and put on some weight. My biggest fear is that she will get fat, like I did, and get picked on and bullied. Her biggest downfall, just like mine, is SWEETS!!!!
So, last week, I made a deal with her, if she cut out her sweets, then I will cut out my sugar and soda and we are starting tomorrow. I went out this weekend and bought myself one of those bubba jugs that holds all of the water I need for the day.
My daughter is my inspiration. I want to get healthy so that I can be THAT mom that gets out there with her kids and runs and plays, and coaches, and attempts to go to every one of their functions as possible (with 5 kids, I will be going to A LOT of functions!).
My goals for December: Cut the sugar, drink water (I HATE water), and manage my time better. Im not setting a weight goal this month, just a goal to drink water and eat better.
My Inspiration: My Beautiful 8 year old, Chloe Elizabeth

I had my tubal ligation yesterday. I had to be there at 6am and my surgery started at 8am. I was home by 4:30. It was done laparascopically through my belly button so I am extremely sore. I was intubated and the anesthetist nicked my uvula with the tube. I woke up at about 2:30am in so much pain that I couldn't breathe. My ribs are bruised from being moved from the OR table back to my bed but other than that I am alive...no more babies here!
