Good start for the week!

Monday, February 23, 2009

Well today was a good start for the week. My kids got up and were all in good moods and were all feeling better. ( We all have been sick for about a week now.) They were so happy to be going back to school. Honesty I was looking forward for them going back to school too. Hehe! It was a long weekend of nobody feeling to good. I'm even feeling better, then I did yesterday. I'm really grateful for that one. It's hard taking care of them when I'm sick and they are sick at the same time. My husband is WLC school ( for 30 days at least it's not 15 months like when he is deployed) so that also makes it hard on me and kids as well. It's even warmer out today, now if only the sun would come out we'd be in business. emoticon No chance for that one it's suppost to rain all week in Germany.

What a great way to start the week..

Monday, May 19, 2008

Today I get up and everything is fine. My oldest son has a field trip to zoo today. So I'm getting everything and him ready for it. Everything is fine he gets up in a great mood and gets in the shower, you know all the morning stuff. Well after he's all ready to go I walk out into the stair well with him to say goodbye. Well my other two kids and dog come out with us. The next thing I know my youngest son closes the door. Well I don't have anything with me. Not my keys nothing. So I go to the lady across the hall and asked to use her phone to call the MPs( military Police) to bring me my keys. They have before. Well they wouldn't due to the housing office being open. She was very rude telling me that it was my problem not hers. Well I don't know what to do I wasn't even dressed for the day my kids weren't yet either. So the lady across the hall offered to give a ride over thank god. My kids didn't even have shoes on. At least I had sandals on. All is better now I'm back in. So hopefully my day will be better after that. LOL

I can't help but laugh .... I know what it's like. Not because of a kid, but because of my astranged relation with houskeys.

I have 2 (yes you read it well) sets of keys in my bag. One is clicked in it as reserve for when I lose, displace or do what ever stupid thing with them.

I leave one window open and have my gardendoor key hidden. I do have to climb over walls through various gardens to get there.

I have 2 friends with reserve keys nearby.

What ever grand measures I take I still have to go by the police to get permision to have a locksmith break in to my house about once a yearbecause I locked myself out ...

It must be very anoing when somebody else is responsible ....

It's been awhile.

Thursday, May 08, 2008

Well it's been a long time that I have post anything, but here goes. The last few weeks have been really hard for me. My only friend in Germany left, to move back to the states with her family. We have been friends for the last six yrs in Germany. That's a long time for military family.( For those of you that know about the military.) We have been thru a lot together. I never thought I'd miss her so much. We did everything together. We watched each other kids grow so much. I was there when she gave birth to daughter and she was there for birth of two of my sons. We had seven kids total between both of us. It was very interesting doing anything in public with all our kids. LOL. And oh how I love her kids. Love them like their my own. My kids really miss them to. Everything is getting better now. I'm not so lonely any more. We have been emailing each other and things are getting better. But I better get off my soap box. Hehe. That's about it for now. I feel even better now getting all that out. emoticon

I am not surprised you all miss them so much. You had some really good times together. She is someone you will want to stay in contact with the rest of your life. What are you doing to make some more new friends? Have you met any new people in your FRG. Maybe someone else who is also working to lose weight and would like to workout with you.
