So much change!

Monday, February 15, 2010

So, I have moved to San Diego to work for a pretty cool Business Intelligence company here. I love it and I can walk to the beach on my lunch breaks. Very cool. I'm still Tae Bo'ing after a slight hiatus, and finding a new beginning to finish this journey. I really think that by not being able to work out for a while that it's going to be a lot easier to lose now that I'm starting over again. Sometimes it's tough when my significant other wants to "force feed" me treats and sweets, but I can't let that keep me from my goal. I'm looking forward to working out when I get home and keeping my progress going. I've already lost 4 lbs since I began and only have 8 more to get to my next mini-goal.

Withstanding partner-pressure is one of my challenges too! T always likes to say "i love you" with a box of See's candy. Or reward a hard week with a visit to restaurant where I find it impossible to "be good". Or say "oh screw the gym, let's go to the movies!" Be strong! I know you are! emoticon

So glad you are near the beach. That can be rewarding in itself. You will be down to that mini goal in no time at all. Tell 'him' no FORCEFEEDING allowed.

Back to Tracking

Tuesday, August 04, 2009

I've been incredibly lax/lazy about tracking my food and exercising, but I'm officially going to get back to it as of today. I already tracked my cycling this morning and I tracked my morning mocha. Go me!

Haven't blogged in a while. Update!

Thursday, July 23, 2009

So I'm losing weight again. I suppose slow and steady does happen! Last summer I was averaging 176-178 lbs. Now I'm averaging 166-168 lbs. If my leg would heal it would help. Last 2.5 weeks it's been bugging, so I'm going to the dr. today. Hopefully this doesn't derail my goals.
Anyways, I competed in my first cycling race (the Eppie's) on Saturday and we (my team) finished 13th out of 26. So I was pretty pleased.
Anyways, keep on keeping on!

Glad you're having the leg looked at. I'm a bad one for letting something painful get in my way for a long time before getting it looked at/taken care of. With all the fitness stuff you've signed up for, you need to be at your best so you can enjoy it to the fullest.

Great job on the Eppie's!

Had my 1 week weigh in today

Wednesday, March 25, 2009

I've lost 5 solid lbs and 1/2 inch off my waist, 1 inch off my thighs, and 1/2 inch off my hips, so the phentermine is working! Side effect is sleeplessness and feeling extremely "go go go go go go".
I will post my progress on my next weigh in next Wednesday. :)
Fingers crossed that this weight loss continues!

Congrats! I started phentermine 2 weeks ago and I'm having the same side effects. It's worth it, though, because I feel like I'm finally in control of my eating. Keep it up!

Happy Friday 3/20

Friday, March 20, 2009

Hi All,
I've been stuck at my current weight range for a LONG time now and I'm trying something new. I'm trying out phentermine. I will post in 1 month on my progress. No weird side effects thus far. Definitely suppresses my appetite a bit. Wish me luck!

That is great. I think about getting it as I see pharmacy ads in Canada, but haven't went that route. I'm going to start my HCG Diet when I get my supplies, and today I got a copy of the SOUTH BEACH DIET book, and I'm going to read all of it tonight. I've gained back 14# since November and I just can't stand this and I'm going to be serious and not let a lot of stuff stress me. It is just so easy for me to GAIN if I don't watch every single day.
