Back to exercsing .. better!

You know when you get to your goal you think you dont have to exercise as much,. cause you think your still going to keep off the weight.. which i have but realized i better up it a little and dont do things just cause they are easy. Which i was.. swimming was easy but didnt really give me a good work out as i know other exercises could.. and besides cant swim with pool not cleaned and all.. so kinda forced me to get back on treadmill more and now i am doing exercise shows i taped on daughters tv.. which really is giving me a good work out.. so i am back to taking care of me again and sleeping better and and dealing with stress better too! so even when i am busy i am going to keep it up and keep it going.
There is nothing like a good work out to keep in touch with your body and feel awesome!

    Good Job Geri! I understand what your saying. We associate exercise with weight loss so it makes sense that it gets taken off the priority list once you've reached your goal. I know I did that in the past and I put back on everything plus extra. So I'm glad to hear that your back on the path cause there are so many other benefits to exercise too. emoticon

    You are right!
I know that I sleep better when I've exercised during the day. If I play at exercise and try to do a little less, I do not feel the same. So I try to stay active and walk as much as I can, walk up and down the basement steps at least 10 times a day and do my strength exercises. Every little bit helps! emoticon

Everyone has a beauty inside and out and you have to see that you all are beautiful ! And be proud of who you are. Especially going tthru all the changes you are with losing. Make sure you dress good each day and say to yourself... I am awesome and look great and i Will lose and be even better!!!!
The one thing that when you lose you think.. or some think.. everything will be better and you will be much happier.. yess thats true but losing weight doesnt solve all your problems.. You will have more engery and love yourself more.. but it wont be the end to all and make happy.. that comes from within.. so work on yourself now so you will be happy each day!!! Love yourself cause if you dont how can anyone else love you..

What i mean to say is.. dont try to be a size 4 when you just cant be that skinny. Sometimes we look at others and what size or weight they are and we think .. gee i need to be that skinny.. but it all depends on your bones and height.. i am skinny for me.. i have large bones.. and straight up and down and for me what i weight is good for me.. i dont think i would look good a size 4 or 2.. and really doesnt matter what size i am.. as long as i feel good about me and how i feel.. so dont get upset or bring yourself down if your not at a smaller size.. that some are.. just think of what is good for you.. that matters more..

    So true, sometimes dieters try for a smaller size than they should and look like they are ill. But in their mind sense they still consider themselves too big.
It seems this dieting thing is soo much a mindset, I never realized before how much.

Its how you dress also that make you skinny or looking fat..Did you know that?? sometimes too lower of pants will make you have that muffin top so you look fatter.. also if you wear clothes that are too tight. Not good.. cause will show all and you will still not feel like you have lost weight. So dress the best you can while your on your journey. Pick out clothes that fit right. Pants maybe fitting a little higher than than younger girls wear.. and see if you can see the difference.. Good fitting clothes make the difference and you will have more confidence and feel great about yourself! which is so important as we lose and want to look good.. just things i have learned along the way!

    There is a show on tv called what not to wear, and I have picked up some tips from it, like wear straight leg pants, not tapered. And dark wash jeans look better, slimmer. tops should have a tiny bit of flare at the bottom, not straight up and down slim like junoir clothing. Fun show, the people leave looking so much different then when they started.

    I have a favoriate pair of shorts that are very loose now. I like to wear them when I'm feeling a little plump for the day. They make me feel good, and that makes me remember that I have lost weight and remindes me that I haven't gained it all back, and that I have maintained. I don't like any of my bumps and bulges to show. lol
