Frustrated but doing great!!

Well its been about a month maybe less since i hurt my hand,, wrist.. and its a lot better but dont want to over use it and make it worse so i blow on Wii with left hand and do pretty good acually.. sometimes we dont know how much we do use the other hand and how we can use it for many things just takes practice. Anyways just been frustrated cause cant do all i want to.. but I wont give up! I am running and doing Wii and sometimes on treadmill( I so need a new one).. and i lost 2 pounds.. so i am on my way .. i just have to keep going and not let anything get in my way.,. and i know i will get down where i am finally at my healthy weight and good BMI..
I dont give up no matter what .. i might have bad days but its a new year and time to be doping all i can to lose!!

    I know how you feel, I had my right arm in a cast for nearly a full year. Take time with it, it will pay off in the end. Love & Hugs going your way!

I am really having fun.. seeing what i can do on Wii with just using my left hand.. !!i did do boxing.. for a little with both and it does give me a good work out..and so did reg bowling.. i am using left arm and helps stregthen that one which is always a good thing.. now if i can stay busy over the weekend and next week i will be doing good!

    Glad your enjoying it....our Son took his with him when he left home 12 months ago and since them I keep wondering if I should buy one, still wondering...I would rather have him bring his back for me to use...ha ha ha

Finally Know my true weight!!

I have been doing Wii for awhile now and finally know my true weight.I was guessing before cause scale wasnt working right so i really never know.. so i am now 179.. and have to lose about 25 pounds ot get my BMI down . So even if i hurt my wrist a week ago i stil do what i can to exercise and keep active and going. I have to be careful thou.. hand hurts and sometimes have a hard time sleeping so cant do a lot but at least can walk and do cardo walk in the house.. so i am losing and will keep on tract thanks to Wii and my dauhgter for letting me use it..!

    Hi Geri,
I can't believe you weigh that much you sure don't look it in your pictures. I am so proud of you for keeping on track and doing what you can when you are hurt in someway. Do you have a hand brace my daughter picked one up at the drugs store for six dollar. She was having problems with her wrist with all the chopping of onions and garlic she does at work . I told her she needs to do wrist exercises. She doesn't exercise at all. That's why I am praying we are able to get a WII .Keep up the good work before long you will of reached your goal.If any one can do it you can. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Haven't blogged in awhile.. but thought i should today...Been trying to get in a happy place.. not worring so much about things i cant change and just concentrate on me .. that i know i can change. So back to working out good and loving how i feel! My Daughter, bless her has this WSii and i been back to doing it.. Wii fit and sports.. so love boxing and bowling and baseball..! what fun and getting my exercise too! i also been doing Wii fit free run.. so doing that and that really gets my heart rate up..
I really feel that exercise really keeps me in check with my body and helps with stress and moods and gives me so much engery and i sleep so much better too!
Life is great and really is what you make of it..!!!

Sometimes its hard to stop!

I have made exercising and all a habit, which i am so glad i did but sometimes its hard to stop. Especially when i am not feeling my best . I still want to exercise... do that yard work.. its hard for me to sit still and rest and take care of myself. I am still working on that. I dont want to be obsessive about it.. just dont want to tell myself its ok not to exercise. and i was like that before, after i lost all my weight. So now i am feeling a bit sore and tired and my husband says its because of the fall i had on monday, and he wants me to rest and take care of me.. But there is things to do.. and i know he works so hard much more than i do.. and i want to help.. so i am resting some today so many can do more on weekend..
Life is good thou and i am so glad i made theses life style changes!

    Take care of youself. That is priority #1. It took awhile to add pounds, as it did to take it off. Now that you are there, a day of relaxing isn't going to hurt. Hope you are feeling better soon. emoticon

    I can understand the being a bit obsessive about not giving exercise a break. I don't know if you are like me that way, but in the back of my mind I feel if I don't exercise, that might be the day that whatever clicked when I started this journey will click off and I will stop doing it. I didn't take a break for 5 months, and now over the summer because of being busy I am learning it is ok to take a break, but I always know even that day, the trick is getting back to it ASAP! I don't let up on myself. If you had an injury though, you do need to make sure you don't hurt yourself further. Taking it a little easier than normal wouldn't be the worst thing till you know you are feeling your best. Congratulations on reaching your goal, you look great and I bet you feel great.

    Your body needs a rest from time to time! Give yourself a break and you'll be in much better shape to continue!

    I know exactly how it is...I have a hard time sitting still and on my appointed day of rest, I always feel guilty. However, people do deserve a break now and then so ENJOY!

    Oh momma. Daddy is right.. you need to slow down and take care of yourself. the world wont stop because you take a breather.
its good to let your body rest sometimes... you need to do that before you get sick.. just like you tell me.. take it easy momma rest a bit.. its going to be a busy week and need you nice and healthy.
