I’ve been putting off writing a blog but not on purpose. Been trying to keep up with logging my food which takes a little bit of time and getting those workouts completed
daily. But I’m doing pretty well with it all. If I’m not able to log that certain day I always write it down in my “Fitness” Journal. I write down my meals and workout for the day. I also list my scripture reading for that day (Read Through the Bible). In one of my teams this is our Challenge and it has Inspired me to Read and Meditate More. Then there’s the normal journal writing news I sometimes write down. Anything that has a big impact for the day will go in there also. I’ve written in Diaries since childhood. The best way for me to cope…at the time…with being overweight and feeling alone and ostracized. (I spelled that word correctly! Lol)

Journaling is Great for the Soul. It helps get off your heart those Heavy things that shouldn’t be there any way. Sometimes they are. We shouldn’t dwell in them. Move Forward and shake it off. Aim for Peace and Joy in your Hearts. That’s the Way God Wants Us to Live Our Lives. We are not putting our heads in the sand, but we are not dwelling on the negative as if we have no hope. Every situation has Hope. We have to keep it alive. Look at the End of the situation and Expect A Great Outcome. Shall I just Say Look On the BRIGHTER SIDE. See the SUCCESS. That’s the WAY Our Father Sees Everything About Us. Successes. That’s WHO WE ARE to HIM NOW!

So Great Success…What’s on YOUR Plate Today? This is Wing It Wednesday and I’m not sure what I’m having for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is Oatmeal. LoL Of course.
I’m also Walking 4 miles at the Park now up from 3 and have increased my Strength Training to 4 times a week and added extra moves on some days. Still pumping that Cardio Dance and boy are the inches coming off! That’s how I’m Heating it Up in October.

Do What You Need to Do and Can Do With All of Your Heart. God Works With Our Sincere Efforts All the Time. WE CAN DO IT WITH GOD…ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
Love All of My Wonderful Friends! You Make Me Enjoy My Journey of a Lifetime! Thank You for ALWAYS Obeying God. You Say JUST what I NEED to Hear AT the Time. emoticon

Love You!

emoticonThere is definite progress going on in your life right now. I am so happy for you. I am struggling with the disciplines in my life. I'm starting out with the Word in the morning, and that should get me started in the right direction.

Well I am not what I need to do with all my heart lately. I am still on the battlefield though. You know what I mean Deb! I don't have the time to do my 2-3hrs workouts but I am curbing my appetite & making plans to eat the burger out. I am pushing myself & I feel good about that. My tummy is trying to stick out & I refuse to be a promoter of Sparkpeople & not be shapely. OKAY! lol

God bless & wonderful blog!!

I wanted to share this from Spark Health Trivia:

The SparkPeople program is set up to help you safely lose between half a pound and two pounds per week. Studies show that individuals who rapidly lose weight are more likely to gain it back, while those who lost weight slowly are more likely to keep it off long term. So if you’ve lost a few pounds this month—excellent! Don’t discount that because you see someone on T.V. losing 15 pounds in two weeks.

How was Your Weekend? I had a Great Weekend even though I didn't walk Outside because it was Too HOT. I had a Great Cardio Dance Workout on Sunday & I'm Loving All the Changes and The Energy It Gives Me! Always have loved to Dance. Wanted to Be a Soul Train Dancer...but the WEIGHT stopped me. lol NOT FROM DANCING THOUGH!

I wanted to Encourage YOU ALL to keep on doing what's working for you and change up if you are at a dead end. Changing up is what helps me all the time. The variety in workouts and what we eat is tremendous and we ALL can change some part of our journey that will Reap Great Rewards. emoticon

I Challenge You To Take September Out In A Blaze(Your Blaze lol)!

Just Checking in to see how everyone is doing. We are Halfway through another month. These Days Are Swiftly Moving Out The Way! emoticon

I've been having a pretty good month. Excellent workouts and body changes. Staying on point most of the time with my nutrition. Been eating a lot of black beans lately. emoticon Still eating BREAKFAST. And of course I'm sure that is playing a part in my Progress. emoticon

Today I walked 3 miles at a park I used to frequent over a year ago. I realized that my fitness level has increased because I wasn't winded the way I used to be previously. Plus I'm walking much faster. It was such an exhilarating experience. I even ran into a woman who remembered me and she complimented me on how much weight I've lost. That was so MOTIVATING! emoticon

This journey has taught me so many beneficial things. I've learned much from Spark and the many friends I have interacted with. I Do Appreciate You All! emoticon
I Say This Often Because I Think of You All Often and Am Motivated By You and Your Encouragement. I Couldn't Do This Without All of Your Support! emoticon

Well This is Short and to the Point...
Enjoy Your Wonderful Weekend! Do Something That Makes You Laugh Out Loud! emoticon

Many Blessings From Our Father Who Is More Than Enough To See You Through!

I REMEMBER 9/11...

Saturday, September 10, 2011

These MultiColored Roses Represents All the Lives Lost on that Day.

I Remember As If It was Yesterday Where I was And What I was doing.

I Worked At Cingular Wireless(Now AT&T) Around the Corner From My House in Tulsa Ok. I was a CSR and We Helped Customers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Philadelphia. My Customers Were Mainly In New Jersey. Just Before 9am...I don't remember any calls before that...I received a call from a male customer. He was distracted almost immediately and started talking about what he just heard over the television. He couldn't continue and the call was ended...(NO CELL SERVICE EITHER)

After confirmations we Realized the Horrible thing that had happened. THAT WAS THE ONLY CALL I HAD THAT ENTIRE WEEK. We went home and Many of Us Stayed in Front of the Television CRYING and Shaking OUR heads Wondering Why and HOW Did this Happen in The United States of America. We ARE One Nation Under God!

But We Do Understand That The Real Enemy is satan and he tried to destroy OUR SPIRITS. But We ARE ONE NATION UNDER GOD AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE

It was so Hard for me and Many of My fellow Church Members Our Pastor Told us It was Enough...We needed to turn off the TV and focus. That was true. I turned to Prayer and Battling the Works of Darkness. I thank God that He is So Merciful to Us All.
This brought back All the Pain and Memory of The Oklahoma City Bombing for me too.

We As Americans Must Never Forget The Innocent Lives That Were Snatched Away. It Is Well With Our Souls Although We May Feel Sad. We Remember...But WE ARE STRONGER! Unity is a BOND! We should Never Let Something Like This Have to Bring This Country Together in Unity. We Are A Very Blessed Nation for a Reason. WE CARRY THE HEART OF THE FATHER.

So I want to Send God's Peace and Blessings to All of the Victim's Families and I GIVE MUCH HONOR TO ALL OF THE RESPONDERS!!! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. emoticon

One of the Memorials.

Yes, a day I will never forget.....We were burying my grandmother's only brother on that day......I was getting ready for the funeral that morning and my kids were like "mommie" an airplane just went through a building in New York, I ran to the TV and sat motionlessly with my mouth open and crying because I could not believe what was happening....and then I immediately began to panick because I had an older aunt (my other grandmother's) sister who resided in New York, just blocks from where it happened and "fortunately" she was visiting some of her friends in another state.

Every year it's like I relive what happened on that September 11, 2001 day, and because it was also 4 days before my 37th birthday.

    I will never forget 911.
Yes, we are one nation under God, and as long as we walk after Him in Spirit and in Truth, He promises to bless us.

I am so thankful for His Grace ~ Laura

I love what you said and how you said it. I too remember that day very well. I live in CT only an hour from NYC and I remember getting a phone call telling me to turn on the TV when the first tower got hit and then watching live the second tower go down. To this day I can't help crying when I think of friends and aquaintances that lost their lives or were hurt that day. My daughter had been offered a job at a law firm there but just a few days before decided to take a Hartford, CT job instead. A decision that saved her life. It was a horrible, horrible thing that showed me how precious and fragile life is. Your words hit home with me and I thank you for taking the time to post this.
