I am strong in faith but I wondered what I would do in this circumstance. She had been feeling pain and knew to go get it checked out. I pray that all of you make sure we are not neglecting the cries of our bodies when something may be out of place. Not walking in fear but using Wisdom to know what to Pray against. I have never gotten a Mammogram. I'm thinking of getting one real soon. My Life in God is valuable and I want to be Whole to reach the loss.
Ok...I'm doing great on my workouts and nutrition. Thanking God that I know I'm walking in Consistency which makes me happy!

My son's 21 year old sister is going for a Biopsy of her breast today to see if she has breast cancer. She was having pain in February so now they want to do the Surgery. It's at 1:30 cst and I just found out about an hour ago.
She's a strong young lady who takes care of her 3 year old son. She works two jobs as a Registered Health Care Provider for the elderly. Her grandmother passed last summer from cancer and I know she's scared. Any prayer you give is deeply appreciated. She's in Oklahoma but prayer is only a whisper away.
Happy Wednesday Everyone. Just Stopping by to let you know how my walk/run workouts are going.
Well I think they are going great!
I'm going to start following my training plan to get my running longer.
I also want to check myself on different terrains. I mostly have been running on concrete sidewalks or on asphalt or parking lots. The high school running track is asphalt but it appears that I have to try harder to run on it. I don't know if my tennis shoe is incompatible with that surface or not. I guess I have to get use to it. I also desire to run at the park on the trail that is gravel and dirt to test my time there also.
I'm going forward and can't wait for the 5K in April. Each person can do it where ever they want. I'm thinking I want to do it at the park so maybe Thursday or Friday I'll check it out. I'm running inside the house too. In place to practice.

Well I'm doing much better and learning a lot. I also have learned a lot from the quizzes that they have placed on the points page. I actually learned that a serving of meat is only 3oz and not the 4-6 oz that I would eat sometimes. Not all the time. It's important just like making the correct moves during workouts, to eat the correct portion control. I have decided that I will load up on the green vegetables that can be considered a FREE food. That's why I think a salad before a meal with out all the heavy dressing is the best weapon against too big of a protein serving.
During this month I am also working on eating more and more vegetables especially the ones that I don't eat a lot such as asparagus. As always I'm working on getting my 8 glasses of water per day.
Making a better choice in the type of food that I eat is very important for me. I want to eat enough that it is filling and not calories that contribute nothing but useless extra calories when I could have eaten a serving of brown rice or mashed sweet potatoes. It's a conscience choice and ours to make for success. This is the beginning of our entire lifestyle change.
