My day was great...my son and myself until he went to work at 2pm but he was off early and tore that gooey butter cake sweet potato kind up!!! He loves that cake. All that powder sugar in it makes it's velvety.

Girl I am glad you had an wonderful day too. I pray we can all celebrate the time we shared together with our family & food. We seem to take a small bit of groceries put it before the Lord & multiplies it for edification! I have been here 3 years and I know that my Lord Jesus by the Holy Spirit sent me here because He knew that I would have great tools and people who would know how to keep me motivated and focused to meet every goal in my heart and on paper.

I THANK GOD FOR SPARKPEOPLE AND SPARK GUY AND ALL THE LEADERS AND EMPLOYEES WHO MAKE THIS ALL POSSIBLE FOR ME. I THANK GOD FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE ABLE TO POST ON OTHERS PAGES AND TO HELP ENCOURAGE THEM AS THE ALWAYS DO ME. I PRAY THAT YOU ALL RECEIVE 100 FOLD RETURN FOR THE GREAT ADVICE AND MOTIVATION THAT I RECEIVE TO KEEP ON GOING NO MATTER WHAT. YOU ALL HELP TO KEEP ME GROUNDED AND I COULD NOT HAVE LOST OVER 55 POUNDS WITHOUT EVERYONE OF YOU. I THANK MY GOD FOR YOU ALL AND THAT HE WILL FILL YOU WITH ALL HIS FULLNESS WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD!!! NOTHING JUST HAPPENS SO KNOW THAT THIS SITE IS BLESSED BY THE LORD. WHAT YOU DO FOR OTHERS WILL COME BACK TO YOU IN RETURN. THAT'S WORD!

I am thankful that you all will have a Loving and Joyful and Exciting and Safe Thanksgiving weekend no matter where you are in Jesus Name.

Please obey the traffic laws. The Police are out looking for drunk drivers so don't be who they are looking for. Thank you.

I truly am thankful for my spark friends and will be back with you on Saturday.

I have decided that TODAY is a time for NEW BEGINNINGS.

I have been blessed to see the start of another great year and I am so HAPPY!

The BEST is yet to come. That's what I am striving for is the BEST.

Nothing is impossible for me to achieve or become.

I am focused and know that it takes consistency in every area of my life to be a GREAT SUCCESS!

No matter what happened yesterday...TODAY is NOW!

Don't look at what you can't do or don't see or don't have; look at what you can do and what you can see and what you do have.

This journey is not getting me...I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR BECAUSE OF JESUS!

I WIN!

OK...I'm a little excited. More this year than last but last year was a Milestone birthday if you want to call it that. But even though I was blessed to still be here and perking I was not as HAPPY as I am now. I truly have a NEW mindset on things. I am listening to God's Leading and This has made a valuable difference in my life.

So what plans do you have for next week? Let me show you what I plan to prepare. Just a rough draft.

Roasted Turkey
Cornbread Dressing (I rarely stuff a bird) May add some new stuff for a change.
Mashed Potatoes
Sweet Potato Pie
Green Beans
Gooey Butter Cake(Don't know which one I will prepare...maybe lemon)
Baked Sweet Potato(For Myself)
Black Eyed Peas(These babies barely nudge my blood sugar and that's a great thing.)
Rolls(Maybe...lol)


I will make them as healthy as possible but I still plan to eat in moderation. My daughter should be there and I don't know who else. My relatives from home have not confirmed as of today so that's up in the air. Turkeys were on sale for .29 cents a pound on Sunday. That means I saw a giant turkey for $6 and some change. What a bargain. You know how Walmart have those food wars. lol I'm looking on a great deal on sweet potatoes. .25 cents a pound anyone? lol

Ok...Remember I said that's a rough draft. Plenty of water will be available and Tea...unsweetened. I pray you all have a great weekend and enjoy each day.

Not bragging about my birthday but I felt like sharing...early. Just in case I don't get to this library. It's cold here and I will never complain about the heat here again.
That's word!

Still doing good and working that knee more. Another Physical Therapy session Friday. Then next Tuesday. They working me but it will be worth it.

I am not a cook; but I plan to try to make the DRESSING for our family get together at my niece's. The regular cook (my older sister) will be out of town visiting our mother. HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Today was my 2nd Physical Therapy session and as I walked from one place to another I caught my reflection in that big clean mirror. I was distracted for a minute and wanted to pull out my camera phone to take a picture. Alas the phone is still cloudy so that would not have worked.>

I'm making progress so everyone of us can make it happen as we give each other support. I want to reach a goal and spread the spark as new members visit our pages so Let's Go TEAMS!

I am so happy today even though I am still offline at home but thanks be to God Who always cause me to TRIUMPH no matter what. The library is a block away.

So just wanting to stop in and let you know that I'm thinking about you and praying for you always and I miss being around more but I do need to move even if it seems to be a snails crawl.

I can make my Goal no later than March 2011. Now that puts some of the pressure of. It's ok and everything is going to be All-Right!!!

Look in the mirror...YOU ARE MAKING PROGRESS!
