What Do We Want?

Monday, July 12, 2010

What do we want? Pounds off! When do we want it? Now...of course. We can do this. Healthy and consistently. No fear here. I am determined to meet this goal this year. This week is a great week so live it for your goals. Daily we can meet them. Get up and move no matter what. 10 mins 3 times a day if you have to. We are not taking no for an answer from our bodies. We are in control. We can do it. We make it happen. Daily

We are in this together and if I can do anything for you in any way do not hesitate to ask Meeting Her Goals in 2010 Deb!

Many blessings for the week!

Welcome Making Progress July!

Thursday, July 01, 2010

Hello to all who choose to stop and read this blog. I appreciate the motivation that you all give me and I pray with you for success in the month of July.

Keep going forward no matter what. Each day is always another day to begin again. Hopefully you are on a continuing journey to your big goal. emoticon

I lost 10 pounds in the month of June which makes me very happy and encouraged to continue on my journey towards the ultimate weight loss goal. Thank You Jesus for always being my Personal Trainer in all things! emoticon

I'm praying for another 10 pound loss for July or more. I'm hitting my nutrition goals and keeping away from all the foods that cause me to stumble. I am strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Might! emoticon

Have a great July and keep on moving inside or out. You can do it. I have faith in you and I have faith in me. We are beating this extra fat to the ground forever!

Blessings!
Deb

Soul Power

Friday, June 04, 2010

Thank God for Friends who remind you of His Soul Power in us. This journey is truly nothing if we don't remember God's Love for us and how He works from the inside out. It's amazing to be transformed on the outside, but how awesome He is Who transforms our souls to line up with the Mind of Christ as we meditate in His Word both day and night and observe to do according to ALL that is written for then we shall have a prosperous way and have good success. My interpretation of what Joshua 1:8 tells us. God is working all things out for our good. He puts His Super with our natural.

Praise the Lord!

I AM BEAUTIFUL!

Friday, May 28, 2010

I am beautiful!
How about you?
I am beautiful!
These words to me are true.
I am beautiful!
No one can take my place.
I am beautiful!
I am headed for a glorious race.
I am beautiful!
My eyes see more than skin.
I am beautiful!
This race I plan to win.
I am beautiful!
Open your eyes and see ME!
I am beautiful!
The heart will make you free.
I am beautiful!
I can't listen to what you say.
I am beautiful!
The truth is what I pray!
I am beautiful!
Inside becomes brand new.
I am beautiful!
How about you?
You are beautiful!
Wake up and truly see.
You are beautiful!
Today let your heart be free!

Isn't it true that sometimes we see the flaws and never see the beauty within ourselves? I am glad that you have discovered your uniqueness.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!! I RAN...

Wednesday, May 19, 2010

I ran 1.5 miles straight at a good pace which took about 30 mins while watching Biggest Loser. I was so tempted to stop but I have a goal to meet in 6 weeks and I will be able to run 3miles straight with out stopping. I came across this plan in this month's Prevention Magazine. I'm sure you all know that running is one of the best ways to take pounds off and I've been wanting to be a "runner" for months. I always run and walk now and it makes since to go ahead and just do it. The plan in Prevention helps you to gradually move up each week by running increments until you finally reach 3 miles straight on the 6th week. You can run and walk if you can't run the posted miles for that week-1.5 miles is the amount for week 1.

I'm sure you can fine tune the numbers to suit your running needs. Walk if you have to but if you are interested in becoming a true runner, try this plan or any other sound plan. It also includes 2 rest days if necessary, one day of Circuit training and walking on Friday. It has such flexibility for me and I am so very proud of myself. Watching the contestants on Biggest Loser running that 26+ mile marathon gave me the boost I needed and I kept my run 30 mins straight. I expect my time to be much better at the end of this first 6 weeks.
I'm making progress and I am so happy! Praise the Lord for a wonderful day!
