Well, I've reached my goal weight. It is bittersweet though. Here I am at a healthy BMI anything but healthy at the moment. Still waiting for some test results and then I will work on getting healthy. emoticon

90 day challenge done

Friday, April 27, 2012

Yesterday was the last day of my 90 day challenge and there is not too much to report. 4 lbs lost, blood sugar under control and went to the gym 52 times (less often than I thought I had).
Going to take a little break now. When hubby and I get back from our trip out West, I will start another challenge, this time to get ready for the 60km walk in September.

the first 2 days of my challenge

Monday, January 30, 2012

Saturday & Sunday (day 1 & 2) went quite well with pretty much all of my goals met.

my own personal challenge

Friday, January 27, 2012

So, I'm going to start my own personal challenge come tomorrow; there are more than 12 weeks left before hubby and I fly to the west coast to see family (beginning of May).
Here is what the challenge will look like:
*don't skip meals
*drink plenty of water
*get enough fiber & protein
*eat low GI
*exercise; not just the body but portion control as well
*no junk food; no soda; no fruit juices
*balance by plate and make it colourful (eat the rainbow)

this challenge will also include my morning & evening routines as well as remembering to take the one medication that I am on, the krill oil capsule and the calcium.

So, there it is...some of these things will be easy (like no soda), others will be a little more "challenging" (pun intended)...LOL
Hopefully, this will help me to lose a little more weight, get me more fit and in better shape and just generally look and feel we go...
