Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but doesn't get you anywhere.

I know it sounds funny but I do beleive in the prayer - Lord help me to change the things I can, accept the things I cannot change and the wisdom to know the difference!

The act of worry and the pain it causes is a direct tool of the devil!

Looking healthy

To insure good health: Eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.

If people were to look at me now this day they may not see healthy but they will see happy. My family does not eat bad but I am not rich enough to eat all healthy foods. Some of the foods we eat were eaten in my family for generations. Poor farmers beget poor farmers.

I am working on the health of eating, breathing and thinking but it is a work in progress.

Our lives are a sum total of the choices we have made.

My choices have not been all that great. As i look back on my life and see where I am today I have several choices I wish I could make over. Alas that is not an option. I do have a problem with feeling like I cannot change my life now at this point, that I am stuck being the no one that I turned out to be but that is not true is it?

In Jesus I have the fresh begining that I need to become the person he wants me to be.

When eating a fruit, think of the person who planted the tree.

This ones asks us to think about all the things in our life that make our days easier and to think about the people who made them, created them, or invented them. This is a good idea. I do not know who made my cloths but I do know that they would love to be appriciated! I do not know the people who made my car but they too would love to know that they are appriciated. Since I cannot call or write to every one who has made my life easier I will pray for them daily instead!

Learn from Hardships

Suffering is the tuition one pays for a character degree.

I do not care about a character degree, what I care about is teaching myself that what I endure is nothing compared to what Jesus endured while on this plannet. The only degree I care about that deals with suffering is the degree in which I have Jesus love in my heart and in my life.

However I do beleive that we cause our own pain and happiness and that we have no one to blame but us. I beleive we can change our pain to happiness we just need to practice the attitude. I do not wish the future of me to wwrite its self, nor do I wish to write it myself.. I prefer to let God write it!
