Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

Yes I do have the same amount of time as these famous people, but I have not the talent to manage my time or to create wonders with my time. I can paint, I can write, I can talk I can see but what I cannot do is live in this worlds time restraints!

I long for the hearafter and the endless worship and praise that will be there. THe lack of stress and the time to just look upon my Jesus and love him!

Body and Soul

A healthy body is a guest-chamber for the soul; a sick body is a prison.

This body I have right now is a prison to my soul. My goal trek is to get to a weight where my soul will feel at ease and I will love the body I reside in.

It is not an easy road to thinness baut it is a road that i will never cease to tread!

God gave me this body as a gift and I have abused it! I need to make this right! I need to loose all the excess weight I carry aaround!

Building Foundations

“Be not afraid of going slowly; be afraid only of standing still.” -Chinese Proverb-

I personally find this to be a tough reminder that I am not perfect! I have always believed that I should be perfect, and have always been disappointed because I am not. When I turned my life over to God, He took most of that feeling away. I am the reason that there is lingering evidence of my insecurity still around. I am not sure why but I am afraid to let go of my insecurities!

I know that the foundation of my life and of my weight loss or any other project I am working on is meant to be strong to keep the project from falling apart. I neglect that step often as not and consequently my projects fall apart on a regular basis. This time with weight loss and the association with SP and friends I am building from the bottom up and making sure each step is complete and strong before moving on.

Thanks be to God for he is my foundation!

Navigating the ship of life!

"A Ship in the harbor is safe. but that's not what ships are built for."

The easy way out! Hmmm What is that to me? Is it not exercising when I know I should? Or is it eating things I know I should not eat? It is both of these and more. I need to stick to my routine and get to a point where healthy things are normal not strange. As far as the expantion of my routine I want to have the ability to be crazy and try new and different things. Having an exercise routine is not meant to be the samae path the same boring exercises day in and day out. It needs to be challenged and changaed up often! Some risks are worth taking! Like the belief in God with out phisical proof. Faith of a child! Live like a child, enjoy every breath you take julie!
