That's what I said to my trainer today. I was talking to him about how I want to build more muscle and not just focus on weight loss so we did a workout with heavy weight and low reps. Whew! He made me do lat pull downs with 70 pounds, rows with 60 pounds, bicep curls with a 30 pound dumbbell, tricep extensions with 20 pounds, chest presses with 25 pounds, chest flys with 20 pounds, squats with 12.5 pound dumbbells on each shoulder, etc. HOLY COW! I never knew I could do that much. He encouraged me to do more than I thought I could and I DID! It was awesome! I feel strong and fierce. :) Hee hee!
Then I walked a 5K on the treadmill for cardio and I'm now tired and already sore so I'm glad it's my recovery week. I'm also looking forward to Core Synergistics tomorrow since that is one of my favorites. Oh - I forgot to mention the three ab exercises he had me do also. OH - and the scale was down a little more this morning so I'm excited about that too.
The ONE thing that irritated me is that my ipod died and doesn't even turn on. It worked fine the other day and then I went to charge it and it's dead and won't do anything. I don't even have the library saved and have to do it over since the laptop I had it on died and needed a new hard drive. Good thing I didn't fix it yet. I did look on Game Stop online and they have refurbished ones and take old ones in trade so I think that's what I'm going to do since I like the larger Nano instead of the new tiny one.
