I get the beginning of the work week blahs today as I had yesterday off for Dominion Day ( yes there is a movement to change the name back from Canada Day not that I would mind). I had a hard but busy day (I bought a do rag to wear to work I don't think they cared for it but I thought "too bad" ) so I was glad it was over - I only got 5 or so hours sleep last night and I rode my bike tonight so I am dragging. I had today off still as yesterday was a stat and my regular day off. Thank goodness for regular weeks. Today was hotter than I had expected - I slept in as I had trouble falling asleep last night. Did do a lot did some housework and exercised a bit (got more to do yet). At least its another short week. Have a good week.

Not too much to add still mucous city. So much for the long weekend (I hope to make it into work for Tuesday ) although I am planning to take Friday off as I need to get the stitches out. My do kinds scared me when he said that there were two (two different types of course) sets in (apparently I needed stitches INSIDE my scalp as well) . Yikes.

Didn't do a lot today its hot here and I still have that stupid cold and its now migrated into my chest and throat. YIPPEE. of course the hot weather just helps SO much (I HATE SUMMER COLDS- I feel even MORE imprisoned).

I just wanted to sleep all day today as the head cold is still bothering me - I worked around the house quite a bit even thought it bothered me and got a fair bit done (surprising what you can do when you stay away from the video games) I get my stitches out a week from now (can't wait) . I am glad for some weird reason I seem to hae acquired a different mind set where I want to complete things MORE than I used to rather than letting them slide and then fall into the incompleted pile. ( I HAVE a BIG one of those - all the way back to 1980)
