stomach troubles

Oddly enough I see no replies to last nights post. I caught some sort of stomach bug last night. Had to get glasses today and other than that spent most of the day in bed still do not feel well. So goodbye for now.

I had a busy day at work today. Still no news as to whether or not I will get swept up in all the cuts our wonderful prime minister and his gov't have decided to put into place for the public service to pay for the deficit HE created. Nice to yet again be the WHIPPING BOY for someone ELSE'S SCREW UPS. Not like that hasn't happened to me before. I went to pick up my truck as it had to go in for warranty work (it has paint protector from the dealer) well they went and ran down my battery (which has NEVER gone dead EVER on MY watch!!!) and I discovered that they were listening to the radio as it was on some CRAP station I would NEVER EVER listen to.My radio no longer works at all I don't know if they permanently screwed it up but it was dropped off at 10:30 the appt was for 11:00 and it wasn't finished until after 4:30! The radio now does NOT work at all I get a distorted sound out of ONE speaker. We manager to leave a message as they seemed to have left when we got home . A manager called back and he was NOT happy. So hopefully this get SORTED.

It's the same here. They squander tons of money on partying and then the want more money from the taxpayers. I would be very peeved about my car. Not to sound rude but who knows what they did with your vehicle. I always checked the mileage to make sure they weren't driving mine home. Report Inappropriate Comment

another weekend gone

I very nearly subtitled this one don't blink or perhaps Computer's God's (well really Man's) great time waster - between trying to catch up on emails , spark people and video games etc I managed to waste most of today. I always seem to have such grandiose plans of what I am going to get done with my time off and then I turn around and realise I didn't get even one tenth of it accomplished. I suppose I should think some is better than none but it doesn't feel that way coupled with the fact that I have stuff I am going to have to do outside NOW all the time until the snow falls again and I don't know how I will fit in exercise but some how I know I will have to. I have to go as I have other things to do outside of Spark People.

Easter Sunday

I didn't make it today I guess I should have gone by myself but my wife is still very ill. The snow is nearly all gone. I guess it DID help as the ground is quite dry we didn't get as much snow as normal this winter and no rain yet of course it could be argued that we haven't really had as warm of a spring as usual but its only April.
I used to really love May growing up it was just warm enough that you could enjoy things (high 50's to low 70's) but cool enough that you didn't feel like you had to run for shade or indoors. I think we are supposed to get rain next week we will see.

Today we got another dump of snow and on a work day made it just THAT MUCH MORE FUN (sarcasm engaged) we probably got close to 10 inches of fluffy light non sticking snow (NOT) the damn stuff was SO saturated with water it even stuck to the sides of the building I work in . Fortunately it started to melt by this afternoon. I left early as I started work before 6:45. Very tired oh and I nearly burnt down the house after a mishap in the kitchen making breakfast but I don't want to go into that now too shameful. I plan to attend Mass tomorrow and possibly Sunday. I hope everyone has a good Easter.
