Had to do it:-(

Wednesday, September 08, 2010

I had to drop out on being a leader of two teams this morning.
With all I have going on I cant keep up with it all.
I'm now the only leader of the Steelers, & that is my ever so Favorite team ever!(loved the Steelers sense 1976)
I also dropped other teams too.
BUT I will hope fully be back on here when the snow flies!!
Im still here if anyone needs me!!
Have a Great day all!

I'm sorry you had to leave, too. You were one of the first people to welcome me and I didn't even get the chance to check out that team yet. I'll look forward to snow flying so you can come back. In the meantime, I'll just say hello, thank you for the welcome and wish you all the luck in the world. I envy you having your four grandchildren. I have one granddaughter and she's all I'm ever going to get. I love her more than life itself. Stay well. emoticon

Chris, You have to take care of you first. There is only so many hours in a day. I only see what you comment on daily and your points and minutes. You are an awesome person, BUT you can only do so much. You have been an inspiration to me since we met. I thank you for that.
I didn't know there is a Steeler Team. I am from Pittsburgh, been here in Florida 17 years.

WOW not having my treadmill for almost three weeks really set me back a little bit.
BUT it has been 1 week having it back & I have ran over 70 miles on it & for two days in a row & did 105 minutes NON stop jog/run..
Yesterday I did 11.48 miles & I did different speeds & incline.
TODAY I did over 14 MILES!! in the same time of course I ran more & yes on inclines which I love to do..
I have come to terms that NOTHING will ever keep me in shape more than having my treadmill & my strength training.
building endurance back faster than I ever thought I would!
Hey today I will be wearing a spaghetti strap t-shirt & I look great in it too.
Showing off some of my
I work hard to keep the weight off & now besides keeping it off I am now building toning & keeping my mind set that no matter that I am 51yrs old I CAN DO IT .
I'm so Happy with the Me I have created..;-)

YOU TOO can DO IT!!!
Never give up on YOU!!!!!!

I love your blog and what a awesome attitude. I do have one little question young lady, and that is about your age. You did read my blog about "they forgot their age" .
You are young and what you are doing with your life and working out, you will always be young. Age is a mindset.
You are indeed an inspiration for people at any age, I always get inspired when you write a blog.
You should be proud of who you created and happiness comes with that.
Thank you for sharing emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Age is mostly in the mind. If we treat our bodies as the precious gifts they are then we can live forever.... well not really but living to old age in a healthy body is like forever.

Glad that you are enjoying your "new" body! emoticon

You are showing everyone age is just a number. Its the 'u' in you that counts. What you want to do to achieve your goals. You have done this as well as any pro athlete trains..
Enjoy your maintenance!

What a motivational blog, I'm not there physically yet, but my mind has me hoping on my treadmill [after reading this] and jogging on the incline ... however, I know my body and I better walk b4 I run [lol]...but it's a start in your direction [to think thin]! emoticon

Question: When you were at your highest weight, how long did it take you to get regularly energized and find that feeling that makes you stop feeling weighted down? I keep pressing forward but the scale doesn't want to drop fast enough; nor, my body stop feeling yukie & bloated emoticon I'm thinking it might be sodium though I've never had that as an issue in the past... but neither have I ever lost 20 lbs [only to hit a plateau] so soon. I keep fluctuating with one lb the past three weeks??? emoticon Yet, I've been on program for only six & a half weeks, [normally, I'd drop 4 to six pounds a week] maybe less, but how can it level off so soon & almost stop all together? Is that what getting old does to a person? I seriously want to be a hoping old grandma, not a weighted down one! I want my later years to be greater than my youth... lose weight and I should not feel as old as I did in my 20's & 30's [that's my goal]! (Hope I make sense?)

HMM I just dont know you spend all your time at fitness stores looking for the BEST you can get & it just isnt it.
So yes this will be number 4 DEAD..
They WILL be bringing me a new one on Monday so it's the treadclimber till then..
If the bugs arent bad in the mornings looks also like I will be hitting the trails behind my home with my dog!!
At least I know I wont break

That's suppose to be a high grade treadmill? What happens if it was sitting in a fitness center, it wouldn't last a day. I think they should be paying you to try out their equipment for durability. emoticon Hugs, Keke

The first one I bought was so cheap it stopped working within a couple of weeks; my husband finally bought me a high powered one [Brand named] from Sears ... and we made sure it went up heavy enough, though I hope and pray it won't have to work for long at the higher weight level... emoticon

Hey are just too emoticon at working out! Some treadmill company should study you and build one accordingly. Also, thanks for the bike goodie. I am way late on the thankyou but I am not receiving any emails, notifications, etc. from this site.

    Hi Chris,
That is not a good thing, maybe the company should hire you to test their equipment, meaning they would give you a free one to "test" emoticon
I enjoy walking outdoors and also would have to go to gym to use a treadmill.
so until the new one comes enjoy your walks

I have had my Bowflex going on two yrs & last night at work my boss was looking at my arms & said LOOK at your muscles!!(I was wearing a short sleeve shirt).
Heck I havent even noticed that yeah I'm building at last!!
I'm wearing all the same size clothing so I really didnt know I was doing more than just toning.
I workout three days a week on my Bowflex & I love it!!
I really welcome the muscle!!

My husband and I both want a bowflex but our ceiling isn't tall enough [even for the shorter ones]... unless they've come out with a new one in the past year or so??? Guess it wouldn't hurt for me to double check!
