WELL as you can see I hammed it up a bit for the camera & I got a STRIKE!!! Our team was'nt out for blood-WE came in 3rd from last! But we had so much fun!!

The funny part is that I had taped Stacey, before me she got a strike. Then after me hubby got one too! Then that was the LAST & FIRST one for me!..lol Yes I do better on the Wii too. Great exercise! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Yep you all wont be seeing me on the Doctor Oz show which I was to be at on Wensday.
At the last minute my bus was cancelled to take the 5-1/2 hour trip to NY City.
THEN to really add to my disappointment I was dropped off at the Bus Station & my hubby never heard the phone ringing to come & get me!I was there till 4;30 am, I hadnt slept in 24 hours so I WASNT in the greatest mood.
I went home & slept 2 hours then called DDOORN, who I was to be meeting in the studio to let him know my buss was cancelled.
Got DDOORN's, voice mail left a message &he called me back minutes later to let me know he was at the studio in line waiting to go in for the taping.
I called the studio to let Alisha, know I wasnt going to be ther cause of the weather .DDOORN, drove there the day before & got a hotel room(smart);-).
She told me that the show is still very interested in me!
WOW that made my day! She asked me if I was still interested~ YES ya dont have to ask me that question twice!
so I dont know when I'll be on the show all I know is that they love my success story & that I have kept it off 7yrs &still going strong!!So I will let all know when this will happen.
THE airing for yesterdays taping will be 2/16/2010! I hope I see DDOORN!!!
Above you can see my refund I got in the mail today.

Oh that stinks that the bus was cancelled. But I hope to see you on there soon. You'll have to keep us posted. You have an amazing story and are an inspiration to many. You deserve to share your story with the world! You should be so proud!!

I'm so sorry you weren't able to make it. I hope that they do call you again to come out in the show. You are such a motivator and I know... you coming out in a show like that will help many others do what you did. I'm SO PLEASED that they are still interested in your story! Especially as neither BOTZZZ nor I were selected to speak during the show, hence, no way to promote SparkPeople beyond the buzz I could attempt to circulate among those nearby that I spoke with. There is an attempt starting up to organize the Oz 100...I am trying to lobby for them to join us here @ SparkPeople! Another thing I would like to see: perhaps a FOLLOW UP to the Oz 100 at a later point, perhaps during Sept. National Obesity Awareness Month...?
